I think NCCU matched sounds as a section better overall, but SAU definitely played more engaging and difficult stuff, so you won't get very far trying to decide who was "better" here. Who won this just depends on what you value as a listener, but this whole video is definitely a gift to music-enjoyers all around

If u were expecting NCCU to overpower anybody, then you obviously don't know their program…NCCU tubas did what they do…and thats to sound good at all dynamic levels…St. Aug was loud, but i take quality of sound over quantity…

All in all yall did what yall came to do which was recruit if St Aug and NCCU is gonna be the new VSU and NSU hey so be it, yall will do this alot more St Aug and NCCU aint that far away. My critique though was St Aug might had the power but you guys would lose the listeners alot due to the constant change ups. NCCU had great song selection but coulda been a little more...."ignant" (lol). Still i take the musicality over the loud so NCCU won it. Both are growing programs and i will love to hear.more from them

I'm not sure which group is which, but the maroon shirts had really nice tone and sounded amazing when they played legato and split into chords. The grey shirt group has awesome energy, put out a ton of sound, had super strong low range, and played rhythmic counterpoint that made me jump out of my chair and dance!
