I would be super interested in seeing those bigger ones too. I’ve been using a Jebao dc wave maker for a couple of months now and honestly it’s pretty great. That said I’ve never purchased a 300+$ power head from the higher end companies but 🤷🏻♂️
The Nero 3 is a spectacular power head. With that being said it’s also twice the cost of the Hygger Mini. I also think the Nero3 is a little overpowered for a 13 gal. You would have to have it at roughly 50% strength. You could put two Hygger mini’s on each end of the sump side so the waves collide and provide a more random flow. That would be ideal for coral growth.

This vs the nero3? Have a evo 13.5 mixed reef in the works and its time for a WaveMaker not sure which to go with either this or the nero 3

Any update after a year?
They both still work great! I have two of them in my Waterbox 20 cube. I clean them about once every other month. I need to do more video updates!
