I know it is a "country talking" you know, double negative, even tripple negative talk, but if you would sing as " I can't live with THE devil on my shoulder" it would certainly be one of the best anthem songs for women who are in abusive situations to find the courage to leave or cut tie with the SOBs, that ever written. You are such a talented songwriter & unique singer, Dani, and you are PRETTY, so don't let any LOSER tells you differently.
I appreciate your take on this!! I wrote the song as a memoir to myself to NOT be hard on myself. It’s tricky because the song leads you to believe the enemy is someone else, but it’s actually a reminder to not be hard on ourselves, and put ourselves down! ❤
