After playing as a Hunter for a while you start to learn at what angle you need to aim to hit targets. Its mostly just educated guessing judging by the distance and height.
Considering he's playing as undead and it's locked at normal difficulty... my guess is that it was on normal. Good pounce all the same. A shame you couldn't claw her a bit longer :(
ok well i got a 360 and it honestly sucks ass i only have it cause im to lazy to actually trying and use the key board to do everything, plus idk im just more of a console kid, but 360 sucks me and two of my friends just had a dam hardware failure cause of nothing. sooo this is making me want to buy l4d on pc now but none of my friends from school play pc sooo yea.

What difficulty was the server on?
