Got set up on a blind date with this guy. He lived in Portmore and I lived in Kgn. He came to pick me up from my house and said we were going to Port Royal to have a meal and then chill, talk and listen to the waves. He told me explicitly that he borrowed this car because he didn't own one, I was fine with that because I didn't have one at the time so who am i to judge??? On our way to Port Royal the car broke down on the loneliest road ever. he came out and tried to fix it but he could not. He called around but all his friends where apparently far away. So he had to leave me to go get help, the long and short of it, I fell asleep and when I woke up, it was morning. I saw a JUTC bus passing and stopped it and found my way home. I do not know what happened to him or the car.

It's crazy what rohan said is my number one dating rule.. if you ask me out YOU need to pick the place.. ie PICK WEH YOU CAN AFFORD. I don't care how many times you ask me where I want to go.. I'll dodge the question.. the most ill tell you is my dietary restriction... When we got to KFC 😁 we ate and then enroute to Devon house he asked me "so sue you belly full wid the two piece"😂from that night girl me learn the man was testing me so you know a lobster me start eat cause him heavy like that and the old car was his first vehicle he didn't want to depart with he had two other vehicles. First a was upset he tested me but we together for 19 years now🎉

I'm sorry, but I'm the girl that will suggest a club for "the first date." We been a text, now I want to see how we vibe in a chill space, no pressure or anything, see if the energy don't mesh you nah see me back. If I liked it, the next date it has to be something a bit more personal, by then it is unlikely the person is going to be as nervous as the first date. They will be a lot more open, guard dropped and when you will get to see the real them cause them well comfortable now. The second date is when you will know if you fi run cause you a see part of the true them.

While I agree that we can try other stuff not all of us had the privilege of having meals outside of the traditional Jamaican cuisine so it is better to take something you are use to than to try something else and don't like it and still have to pay for it. I'm living in Canada now and I'm 31 years old. I'm just barely stepping outside my comfort zone and try food from other countries or simply food prepared differently from what I'm use to. Most times I hate it because I'm not familiar with it.
This is a conversation my friends here who are also from Jamaica have. We were not raised trying other things so as adults its difficult to try new foods.
Ps. I do not eat pasta but what I always order is stake and lobster from the KEG. I don't go to any other restaurants either and its because I was not exposed to different cuisine. I recently had calamari because my friend forced me. Before I said I'd never eat dat but she made me try it and I actually liked it.
Same here I live in Germany and I can't really get out of my comfort zone to try new food but occasionally i do, i like Turkish food and I feel like pasta is to be made from home, girl just Google and buy the ingredients and bam , you will never think of wasting ur money and buy pasta
