    Micah seems like a nice guy and a great boat. Formerly commercial/government rigs now available to the masses

    Great guy, awesome boats. Very thought through new line. If I were in the market for a boat at that price range... i wouldn't hesitate to buy one on the spot.

    Wow, that definitely puts the "yacht" in the boat. Beautiful fit and finish with lots of attention to detail. I wonder if they use OXE or COX diesel outboards on any of their boats?

    Since Yachtline is just a REALLY upgraded Lifeproof. I wonder if Yachtline does a 41' full cabin, like the Lifeproof 41 FC?
    Not that I could afford it, just wondering. Lol

      I think they will do just about anything with an existing hull design. We are both in the same financial boat…so to speak 🤣

    5/16 aluminum Hall. My question is that strong enough to break away floating Log down the Columbia river?? I have seen so many small yachts or vessels, losing the battle special made out of fiberglass or thin aluminum material made.. So is that the recommended size or you need the thicker Hall to prevent them from capsizing or sunken ship from it??

    • @Dogasaurus
      @Dogasaurus Місяць тому

      5/16" is heavier than most comparable boats. Nothing is deadhead-proof at higher speeds if you hit at the wrong angle, etc, but these are tough hulls. Drive better....lol...

    They are definitely not the first ones to use the binnacle on the arm rest, it has been done for years by many different boat builders.

    A knife will puncture the plastic? How thick/durable is it? Being one piece, I imagine a presentable fix would involve.. the entire boat being re-wrapped with another tube? I'm sure anyone would patch it, but how many patches over tears do you want on your yacht? It'd be cool to get it in black or grey, but it's still not as aggressively designed or utilitarian looking as a patrol boat. A 1' longer overhang over the windows, radar tower, and some robust railings would do a lot. I appreciate the sharp angles on the console as you lose them with the round tube in front.

      I think he was referring to the closed cell foam not absorbing water even when cut/punctured. I've been on a couple of these at various shows; there's nothing vulnerable about them, inc the bumper material although I rarely stab boats these days.
      This is the schmancy yachtline, not meant to have the patrol boat rough n' ready look. Check out the Finntastic 35' model for that. Railings aren't as safe as the inboard handrails already in the design, imo, not to mention the Lifeproof signature cabin walkthrough. If your point is that it's not kid-proof, fair enough. I'll take the lower windage/weight for performance and stability. If you lose a kid, blame Darwin.
      All the pics of this boat on the water show a tower for the radar and FLIR, not to mention radio antennae. I suspect this is a stripped down boat show model for reduced air height.

      You can get that absolutely insane new Targa 40 for about half the price of this boat. You can get Nordhavn 41's and 43's cheaper than this. This is for someone that wants a real flying machine though. Targa 40 will do like high 30 knots though and the features and accommodations for 2 legit cabins, 1 legit head with a separate shower and a legitimate galley would be much more comfortable than this. I personally do not want to do 65 mph on the water. It's like driving a car at 170.

      @@josephdover198 Hadnt seen the Targa 40. Very nice boat. Great layout as well. I get speed on the water isn’t for everyone. I’ve had v bottoms that ran upper 80’s, and cats that were 120plus.

      @josephdover198 9 місяців тому

      @@Charlie-go6eb Jesus what type of cat is that fast? I've been on rivers/lakes in mastercraft boats with basically corvette motors in them that would go well over 70. Watched people get hurt just tubing behind them. I would simply let go if I thought the throttle and wake were getting too bad.

      @@josephdover198 There’s several manufacturers. Eliminator, DCB, Nordic, etc. pretty common on the west coast. Pull up some videos from Lake Havasu. Some stunning machines.

      Not one of the yachts you mentioned has a lifetime warranty on the hull, like the Yachtline and Lifeproof do. They're not fast like this and they can't handle rough seas like this can.
      You can buy a yacht with good brand name if you want. But let's face it. If you're worried about the price, you can't afford ANY of them.

    It's too bad that the economy is such bad shape that no one can afford all these boats for sale.
