💠 The inspiration and story:
In the great metropolis, where the obsession for progress is present, people live their daily lives by the clock. Work and fun keep the city pulsing and growing, where its citizens don't care what happens beyond.
This piece is a new musical adventure we explore the rushed life of the citizens, which is inspired by the lifestyle of the 50's and New York City (That's why the city looks like New York), adding some elements of dieselpunk aesthetics. Although it could be placed between dieselpunk, decopunk, and atompunk,...etc.
In this music, I have had a lot of fun exploring the elements of Jazz and some minimalism.
So, you make a lot of retro-futuristic music, you mean you would like to live in the past? No, at that time I couldn't do what I can do today with today's technology, even if I went 10 years in the past I would be desperate for the power that computers had.
💠 The visuals:
In editing, I had a lot of fun creating the sequences for this video. The still images in this production were created with AI: Midjourney, Stable Difussion XL, and DallE3, since I knew specifically what I wanted to put in. For upscaling and removing the background I used Clipdrop by Stability AI.
The animations were created with After Effects, for the satellite views I used Google Earth Studio since the AI couldn't do flat satellite views.
The 3D models used are:
"Heavy Escort Frigate, "Le Téméraire" Class" (skfb.ly/oJuLw) by H.Foucault.
"ZEPPELIN" (skfb.ly/QLVV) by Alexey
"AOT Marley Airship" (skfb.ly/6YH97) by Solarliu

If you are interested in a walkthrough of the music, let me know
I surely am interested in that!
Yeah absolutely.
Sí
The subtitles are a hidden gem xD
자막이 무엇인가요? 알고 싶네요
god thank you for mentioning it XD
The steamboat suddenly crossing over the blimps in the sky is hilarious. It's really the only thing out of place. XD
Love the "uncanny valley center" picture, really fits.
You catched it very well
1:50 I see that!
2:10 too.
What a fantastic world you've created Luis! I feel like I was born into the wrong universe, I should have been put in here instead
gotta say, Humanoide never fails when it comes to creating harmonies and all that, but *percussion* is always flawless
Another masterpiece! I especially love the beginning and the jazz-y elements. Top notch visuals as well!
thanks a lot Laurin
Love the design of the visuals, and the whirling, pulsating jazz-chaos of the music. Absolutely splendid.
Great captions too!
I just loveeee how you make it feel like it's own world, in whatever genre of music you do. It really feels like we taking part on a journey with your work, that's something that is not easily done and you accomplish it so perfectly! Can't wait for tomorrow! 💚
thanks a lot, also affine your eyes at 3:44
As usual, your visual images and music reinforce each other beautifully, Luis, and I fund myself stunned by the sophistication and scope of the world you are depicting. Simply amazing!
Oh yesss! What an epic ride! No one does these things better than you, Luis. 😉
And truly, that easter egg, that's just the best thing ever mate haha! Really happy you took the time with that, means a whole lot 🥲🥰
thanks a lot for listening Gongasleet
Yet another lovely piece! Also damn that last part reminded me of The Cities will Shine Again, images of cities with dramatic orchestral music playing will never not be great!
Thanks and right, that scene also came to my mind when I was in that part.... Like "ah that's the Cities will shine again jazz version"
Could definitely see your music in a game or a movie, keep up the great work!
Your most visually striking video since Engine of the Aeolus; those wide shots are fantastic. The music was really great too; the blend of John Adams, Bela Bartok, 40s jazz and more contemporary orchestral scoring worked surprisingly well! My only complaint is that whatever saxophone library you’re using is a bit thin and sticks out compared to the rest of the orchestra. Great stuff!
Thanks a lot, and yes, sax sounds could be better (I was not expecting at first that I would use sax). Maybe it's time for searching some good sax libraries
@@LuisHumanoideI like the SWAM-Sax compared to the AV-WW. V-Horns seem to be promising.
Fantastic cinematic orchestral music, Luis. Great job done. Like 309 and full view 4.26. Really enjoyed it. Musical greetings Tobias and Lisa
What a lot of fun! You doing a jazz-y track like this when you usually write romantic music makes me think of when John Williams occasionally does jazz stuff, like the opening credits to The Adventures of Tintin. And the hint of a dark outcome for this era at 2:50... chilling. And, what a great ending! Congratulations!
Thanks a lot for listening. And yes it's fun to write something outside the music I usually write. And yes, the part at 2:50 is the reflection of what is happening in our reality. The story of this piece is the western reality of the 50's adorned with airships, as well as Overture of the Diesel Era is another region with an authoritarian regime adorned with machines and airships as well.
damn it's already been a month since the upload? the timings sure are fast
I was laughing at the billboards at 1:48. So clever!

@@LuisHumanoide Yes indeed. Loved them!
The sky is the limit Maestro... this music and style are so unique and captivating... you instantly made me float away to another place ... what a myriad of sounds and influences... the air is bewitching and remains with the listener ...the visual is a perfect match 🙏🌹

Dear evening greetings from Switzerland, your friend Hans-Peter
thanks a lot Hans Peter
Wow!!!
Luis, you are the only one who can fight against the AI. because you make always masterclass videos and soundtracks!!!!
Thanks, however I used AI images for this video (of course, animations are made by myself, so there is a work applied to these images)
At least this civilization is diverse and integrated, and treat people equally, at least from what the images show
The idea of this video is a satire, as if it were a commercial of a beautiful life of the 50's, of course these commercials or propaganda do not show the reality and less the bad things.
Although the objective reality is seen for a short time when the cinematic black bars appear, where you no longer see paintings, but rather realistic images.
DUUUDE I WANNA PLAY THIS SO BAD this would sound so good on my concert band and in out auditorium! I love how the chaos works so well with all the other chaos
Thanks, I need some time to clean the midi if I would convert to score
Awesome piece of work, well done.

thanks a lot Jeremi
This is top-notch on every level. Amazing music.
Hell yeah, incredible work yet again. You outdo yourself every time Luis
thanks a lot for listening
This is phenomenal! I was wondering if you would ever compose something with more of a jazz or swing style and this definitely did not disappoint. I especially loved the begging and ending part and fact that you used the clock ticking as a theme.
P.S. I must appreciate the reference of the House of the Inventor. Thanks again, Luis
Thanks for listening, and right, writing jazzy stuff is also fun. And also, the Clockwork Lands music is not over, there will be more of that but with new stories and visual work
Whooah! What a SUPERB! composition Luis. Love this. Outstanding work 😉👍
Thanks a lot for listening this piece Glyn

Epic!! Both visually and regarding music! Very well done
00:38 the trumpets remind me of honking cars... coincidence??
@@BluemountScore it was totally intentional, you catched it well
That was scary one), 2:58
that was the intention, I'm glad it worked
This is why I will never live in a Capital xD
Amazing work around clock ticks Luis!
Thanks a lot, certainly a big city has a lot of fun things, but daily life can be hard for people that are not used to rushing
ILL BE AT WORK. NOOOOOOOO
You are living the music
1:50 and 2:10

Привет, Луис!!!
Did anyone notice the plug of [The House of the Inventor] because I did.
Ach, połączenie klimatów lat 30-tych i 50-tych :)
La inteligencia artificial debió recrear al metro Barranca del muerto
Los subtitulos en español son bastante XD
Who did the subtitles lol
My cat
@@LuisHumanoide Your cat is really funny x)
Wow, look at all that AI art.
Although almost all images are AI, I would prefer to call it imagery. Art is when a human takes raw material and turns it into something more elaborate.
