I sold my soul to Zok. Quest npc for this event might be talking about another soul.
For high tick rate dps build Bloodtheft + Lifedrinker enchant works gr8 (as for most solo content - it was always one of the best solo-survival tools).
Im not an end-game overgeared player since i play totally f2p and guildless, currently i sit at 22.3k ilvl on assasin and i was able to easly beat tier 2 (and tier 3 is easier than 2).
Its doable when you switch to some self-heal gear (insignia powers also helps here)

The required IL is 18k, but if you are over 20k IL you are scaled to 20k IL.
Paladins attacks are magical too, except their at-wills.

@@Patrick-ix5dl well the good news for you is that during that time we got the undermountain campaign that takes a few hours to do but once you do it everything else is easy lol
if you want someone to run it with I'm always happy to help out.
All you have to do is to complete undermountain and run that tortlment called master expeditions some times to get decent gear and your alabaster stuffy.

Check if not bound to account.
I have to tell you that everything there is bound to account on pickup. Including the coal wards.
@@blackcitadel37 i have to reply to this saying if you upgrade something like a weapon enchantment with a bound coalward you can sell the weapon enchantment on the market :3

I cant believe they added scaling into this, I have no idea why they implement scaling so much, it literally ruins the game at times
Nothing like grinding to make your toon worse.
It's scaled to 20k. Not that bad.

Glad to hear it's not a "one and done, win or loose" sort of gig...unlike other things they've done in the past. Also, you absolutely can get the mount this event. Because you can buy the tokens with zen. You just can't EARN the mount.

@@Silv3ry Oh no, not many at all, but some people will. I was in a guild for a while with a guy who came in and threw like $300 at the game in his first week. And then rage-quit when people gave him crap for stealing loot.

As a noob who has yet to try Neverwinter, and seeing how much the devs have conducted themselves (mostly negative), is this game worth bothering with?

As a returning veteran who just came back after taking a break around the time Ravenloft was dropping, I'll have to say no.
I keep hearing that it's better on new players but I just cannot see how.
I've also had too many negative interactions with Cryptic devs and personnel since the Champions Online days, so maybe I'm jaded on the matter.

Buying the event gets you so ahead that you can potentially get extra Achievement tokens.
Especially if you also buy the 1/3 boost.
Looking forward to it on console.
