「勉強する」 は、特定の科目や資料を勉強するときに使います。
学ぶ when talking about learning in general, including life lessons.
Example: 学校で学ぶ (がっこうで まなぶ) - "to learn at school."
It can also refer to learning life lessons, skills, or wisdom.
勉強する when talking about studying specific subjects or materials.
Example: 日本語を勉強する (にほんごを べんきょうする) - "to study Japanese."
