I really hope you enjoy this very calming and sleepy facial I did with my lovely friend Abi. It's always lovely to work on Abi as she does have tricky skin as it is very sensitive, so seeing it glowing and happy at the end always makes me smile. Her too :)

I like it! It’s slow but not so slow that I’m hanging on every word waiting for the next one and therefore am not relaxed, lol.
As always... splendid. Yes I do like the pace here. Watching again during the day for stress relief/tingles since I always fall asleep too quickly at night 😂

I’ve had facials where I’ve had a mask on my face and the therapist steps out the room and leaves me for 15-20 minutes. I think it’s wasted time. So much better to give a foot rub or scalp massage in that time, I agree!

I've made the same experience when I went to my first facial. The aesthetician even smelled like cigarettes after she went out twice (while steaming my face and leaving the mask on).
Would've loved a small hand or scalp massage.
Same! I go once and never go back! I don’t understand that wasted time. It’s so frustrating.

I LOVE the slower pace!!
My best facials I’ve had are ones that include scalp, and or hand/foot massages while masks are on. I hate being left alone with a mask on, as I feel it is great time for that extra relaxation and soothing touch.

My beauty therapist does a neck and shoulder massage whilst the mask is on, or a foot massage. I’ve had other therapists just leave during that time and I don’t like that as you feel they should be doing other things. Also hate when they leave you anything upto 15 minutes before the end of the facial to “relax and get dressed”. You’re paying for the facial to last the full time.
