Darryl is a good man! Although smoking when refueling is not something you should do DARYL! COME OOOOON!!!
classic daryl
Unless he sparked the cigarette, while refueling, he's more than good. The fumes aren't ignited by the flame of a cigarette. But they would be ignited by a spark of a lighter or even static electricity.
You can throw a lit cigarette, into a gas tank, and the only thing that will happen, is the cigarette will be extinguished
It’s diesel…go flick a cigarette into some diesel and see what happens
I’m going to take a wild guess that ol Bobby taught him how to fuel and smoke the safe way. Lol

you should make bugs wear the go pro for a day and have him narrate the job.
Crew is running like a well greased bobcat. Great prep video and good job guys!
Im currently serving active duty, but prior to the military, I was a union carpenter and then worked for a private contractor doing residential work. I had a boss that was very similar to you, and this channel is a blast from the past to work I used to do.. I just want to say that this channel is an inspiration to those that want to get into the construction industry. A lot can be learned from hard work and constructive criticism. God bless and thanks for the daily inspiration.
I don't always get to watch these daily as they come out, but I have no problem admitting watching all of your videos is like my guilty pleasure. 'Guilty' because I'm watching them while I'm supposed to be doing work, lol!
That shot on top of the Dump truck was awesome! Great video Ryan! I’m praying Bobby gets better! 🙏
I used to do roofing for a month right after I graduated i worked on a fun crew like this except the owner wasnt always there and when he was it sucked. Now ive been working at a plumbing company for a year and i have an amazing owner he doesn’t work with us but he treats us like family and friends. You treat your crew amazing and it looks like a great job to work at I would love going to work every single day working with that crew. These videos make me love working. Thank you for giving amazing content to all construction workers.
Thank you for those kind words and for watching. 👍

It's crazy. I've never done concrete in my life or really had any sort of interest in it but one day I stumbled onto a video of yours and I'm hooked. The production and everything that makes up your videos are very entertaining to watch. The way you interact with your crew and customers is second to none, not to mention you're actually down in the mud with the guys not just pointing fingers and yelling. I've tried to watch other guys with UA-cam channels that do concrete and holy crap I can't watch any of em to the full extent like yours. Even the intro is really cool. Keep doing you man and your channel is going to keep exploding.
I’m a carpenter hate anything concrete, but watching these videos make me happy and I appreciate the good work these guys do. Too many hacks in the industry.
Hello From Canada! I watch everyone of your videos and sometimes I watch them twice when I need a victory fix, you guys rock !
Always look forward to the daily Victory videos! Ryan, do you sell any Victory shirts or is that something that might be in the works? Have a good week.
Never thought I would enjoy watching someone do driveways. Something about this channel is just entertaining to watch !!
I do home remodeling and I've only done a tiny amount of concrete work, but those experiences gave me a mountain of respect for the work you and guys like you do.

@@garrettsoto1667 ... outdoor services means you do many things. In this neck of the northeast the cool weather stops lawn cutting but garden / leaf cleanup continues till the snow flies. There's also sprinkler lines to blow out (no frozen pipes) and large yards that need a variety of other things. (put away seasonal stuff and maybe prep for a spring project) In the east we get hurricanes so always some tree work, then comes snow plowing. Oh, between snow storms there's likely a lot of equipment to repair / maintain for next season. With a little planning a crew can still be busy for 30 hours a week between Xmas and Easter.

I know it's a diesel fuel, not petrol, but still he shouldn't wave with a cigarette around fuel tank.
Man, you guys are hittin on all cylinders!! Awesome work, and FAST!!
How come some people do the finishing of the concrete by hand (on their knees) and some do it with the float attached to an extension (standing up) and swiping it left and right, is it by preference or there’s something more to it?
You canusually put a nicer finish by hand but an experianced pole user can get it nice as well. I prefer doing it by hand myself but i work smaller jobs with my company so we tend to use the frismo more.
The bull float is the first pass just to smooth things out, and then the detail work is done by hand. Finishing with a bull float is fine for something like a foundation, but if the concrete is going to be visible like their drive and walkways you really should finish it by hand to get that clean consistent professional look. Having seen work done both ways, I'd definitely contract the crew doing it by hand over one that just bull floats it and calls it good.
@@kenfresno2125 I think he meant the fresno , I was wondering the same thing
By hand you can actually feel and see any possible uneven areas aka puddles. Over here in Los Angeles we make sure we do a final pass, maybe two by hand to straighten up the lines and leave a perfect last pass. Obviously I'm talking about residential work.
You caneasily finish with a bullfloat followed by a couple passes with a frismo, cut your joints in and then frismo again to take any line out. Wait too long and youll HAVE to finish by hand. But as ive done it both ways. I prefer handfinishing smaller pours as i hate getting out on kneeboards in summer, but its work and work is money.
I love this type of boss stern yet respectful i know you get the best out your crew I inspire to be like you in the near future working hard everyday to make it my reality
