You can test it without cards…
mini sd cards are only used for a couple thingsand are literally too expensive and not offered anywhere so they should update their case! :D

Micro SD cards are used every day. What are you talking about? Go Pros! Drones! Audio recorders! Any filmmaker probably uses micro SD more than regular SDs.
if you have to prize it out like that and its firm.. thats not good. eventually those cards will split. trust me, ive been there
