- We're painting whimsical watercolor trees in today's mixed media tutorial! If you've never played with watercolor before, the loose watercolor painting technique featured in today's project is perfect for beginners! It's also a great for seasoned artists in the mood for a relaxing and simple watercolor painting project that isn't gonna take all day. Before we pick up our paintbrushes, I'll show ya a quick flip through of the book that inspired today's colorful watercolor trees. Then it's time to grab your watercolors & paint along with me!

@@KarenCampbellArtist I have been crafting with my GrandDaughter since she could hold onto a pair of scissors 😁. I normally make cards but moving into mixed media so that she has an all round experience, she like I loves painting so using different paints, accessories etc will enhance her knowledge. I love seeing book flip throughs. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has bought books that were not what I really wanted. Lately, I don't buy them online unless I see a review by an artist first. Thank you, I probably will get this one.

Nice to see I am not the only one who has to sometimes kick a cat out to work. My usually sweet boy, can get very cranky when you remove him from the art desk. The other 2 just chill and watch.

Your rescue cat just wants her/his own place 😀, under a warm lamp. Make her/him a place high up infront the window, make sure there is a warm bed and the cat will never bother you again 🤩 🐈⬛ . I love you for rescuing an animal ❤️

I have tve same copic white but the cap in a cone shape. But the brush is AWFUL! its bent like a horseshoe....i hate it. Lol after seeing yours I might just see if any of my nail polish caps with a brush will fit and take the cones place LOL
