Saw DJ Black Coffee at the Output in Brooklyn on October 21st 2017. Truly a life changing experience. All love. All positive energy, from everyone. One of those moments in life that you can only enjoy at that specific time. I gave Black Coffee the urban "I Love You" sign and he gave me back the official Sign Language sign for "I Love You" back. I know it sounds lame in text, but it was *real* ; truly life changing. Some say spiritual, and I felt that. I think most of us did that night. Thank you for all you New Yorkers and especially DJ Black Coffee and Crew for making my life that much more memorable.

Whatever praise given to this DJ is probably well deserved and understated.
Black coffee brought back the original house sounds with his ways of djing it’s so many genres today but he brings that old feeling back in a new organic form great mix

Now I have listened and watched Black Coffee many time live and all but this has to be the best piece of work I have come across from this man. It’s like he is one with the sound in a way that transcends how human beings appreciate music.
You can have a thousand lights and buttons on a mixer and act you do something with it like a lot of "DJs" nowadays. But this very talented guy lets us hear what mixing is about. True mixing is done with with the ears and all he needs is an elegant and simple piece like the E&S or Condesa rotary mixer with very few but precise knobs to deliver an excellent mix He doesn't need to play in "the reds" either to impress his crowd.

Black Coffee you are a genius, I love your music and your are a technical wizard on the controls but you play with so much heart and soul. Love the tribal influences. Don't ever stop doing what you're doing.

i think the scene has been moving towards afro house and tribal, majorly influence of innervisions and keine musik. Nowadays u see more track been produced afro style, recently even dynamic released a track. this guy is very talented (primary reason why he is more getting known) also he is adopting new styles in his interview he mentioned trying to blend african sounds with melodic deep techno which works great i think
That’s a real mix DJ he probably got all kinds of sounds and ideas in his and they come out on his sets the art of mixing I’m definitely a fan of his style

6 years laters still one of my fav mixes..
I like how he keeps his cool during a technical issue. Many big name DJs throw a fit if the sound isn’t perfect from the get go. Class Act!
