Good Morning, happy Friday! You knocked it out again, can’t wait to see these in your journals. I use double sided tape on the sheet protectors, the very thin strip tape to keep them down. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend too! 👍🌷🌷🌷
Just fussy cut a load of smaller birds out of a A5 ish book. I will have to look out for another old bird book to try this. Great idea. Thank you very much. X

Good morning my dear friend, well, it’s another overcast rainy day here again today and there is a cold breeze. I have been counting down the days until my beautiful daughter comes home from England for her annual visit. It’s 90 days and counting. I do so look forward to her visit. I am sure that the people in the airport think we are crazy because the second she steps through the gate we are running with tears flowing and we hug each other as though we never want to let go. I sometimes find it hard to believe that she has been living in England for the last 25 years. She went to England a year after her dear beloved brother passed away suddenly at the age of 20 from a heart attack. They had been so close that there were times people asked if they were twins. In the 20 years that we were blessed to have our Michael, I can honestly say that they never fought. It was just the three of us and we were all each other had. I miss their laughter.

I enjoyed this video as I do all of your videos. You are such an amazing artist and everything that you create is a work of art. Thank you for always sharing with us your ideas. You are a wonderful instructor and an inspiration. I hope you are having a wonderful time at your retreat and I can’t wait to hear all about it and see how many journals you got done.

Good Morning Gayle and friends! I struggle to use my washi tape. I took this idea and used washi tape to decorate some plain brown bags/sacks I had folded and put in a signature for my journals. So cute! And yes, uses up that washi I love to buy and never use. I loved these pages when you first showed them. Lots of decorating ideas to incorporate into my projects. Good evening Gayle! ❤ Made a couple of these book page journal cards this morning. I had found a small book about mammals weeks ago so this is a good idea for using some of the pages aside from my usual fussy cutting the pictures out. Hope you and the ladies have a great time at the retreat. ❤️
I just dismantled a little bird book to play with. I'm experimenting with making clear corner pockets as well as regular ones so the reader can see the descriptions in case they're interested in learning more. This is such a fun project!

Good morning Gayle! I'm so glad you're making these. I have several of these type guide books including a wild flower book and a bird book. They've been sitting on the shelf for several years, now I finally have a plan on what to do with the pages. I believe I got them at the thrift store. I get 80% of my papers, lace and fabric at the thrift store and 100% of things like buttons, seam binding, flash cards and foreign language cards. I love the thrift store for junk journal supplies. ♥♥♥♥♥

Hi Gayle! I'm done making envelopes, they're all taped together, & I'm applying fabric over the tape (for strength & to look better). Pretty soon I'll be adding pages & sewing them together. If I keep plugging away at it, I should make this Christmas!! I like listening to you while I work!

Always great ideas to keep our stash going! I can’t remember where I heard this but someone said use double stick tape to hold your acetate pockets on your pages. It works like a charm!!!❤

My daughter had reoccurring rash around her mouth and nose. Turned out to be contact dermatitis from sport activity and sweat
