It takes so much patience to simply sit & receive braids - it must take some intense spiritual & mental stamina to actually do the work yourself - this seems like it should be some kind of rite of passage ritual.
@@jaiwills6867 that's nearly impossible to tell if your hair was tucked in well. Most people cut at the length their hair was before the braids, which is actually cutting off new growth

My Ancestors were...ummm, not from anywhere near yours.* 🙄😢😭 I'm an awesome *starter* but a horrible *completer.* after braiding for about 4 hours, there would be some micro , small, then medium *_cornrows_* that suddenly sprang up within the pattern. Now I'm failing miserably trying to convince people that this was the original style I was planned. Looking an entire fool.😶
I usually cheat, cut few inches past your hair length, then grab a bunch and use a fine tooth comb and keep combing up as far as you can!😅😂 works for most of hair. Trust, I had to thinkbof some gett out clause!
Watching this as I install my micros. I would’ve never thought “braid with me’s” would be a thing but it helps to have the support at least to start so thanks for this! After a while it just becomes like an autopilot thing. How long did it take you to finish them all?
These are beautiful. They remind me of the micro braids I had back in HS. I left them in my head for 3 months thinking I could be like some of the other girls at my school. Boy was I wrong. When I finally took them out, I lost a huge ball of hair, and one of the braids near my edges couldn't hold on anymore, so it ripped out from the root. I won't do that again!
Absolutely gorgeous! I've had my hair sectioned off for a few weeks (shampooing/conditioning weekly) in preparation for braiding but I haven't gone beyond that; you've inspired me to start and finish my braids. Thank you!
Those would have stayed in until the wheels fall off or at least 3 months or more depending....mine took 12 hrs not even this tiny...but I do like hers alot
When I do these, I do 3 rows of small cornrows (in the middle). It cuts some of the time but not much (it takes me a week). These look soooo good. U did an amazing job!
These was gorgeous braids. I’m a fan of the tinies. I just did mines in regular yarn twist this size. Gotta do them myself cuz not many will even do them.
You guys are really annoying about the takedown. As long as it’s not YOU who is doing it then who cares. Just say she did a bomb job 😍 because she did and that’s it.

Came across your video as l was looking up box braids! Did mine yesterday a biggish medium size but I think I’m gonna take it out cause it’s too heavy and l work in a bakery where l have to wear a hairnet. It’s just too much hair and heavy also can hardly fit under the hairnet 😣 Think I’m gonna take them out and do small box braids...idk if l have the patience though, I’m not fast at braiding my hair... You did well! They look so neat and beautiful.
Your hair is gorgeous. I wore my hair like this in the 90's & decided to revisit the style. But I can't seem to find the human hair wtbs after watching your video & seeing how beautifully your hair looks I am going to use box braiding hair.

I just did some small knotless braids on myself and I'm already trying to convince myself not to shave my head. Honey of I'd done them as small as you... I'm shaving. They are gorgeous though 😍
I braid my hair because it's so coarse and curly it's unmanageable, especially I the humidity. I just took down my box braids that I left in too long as usual. So I'm almost done taking out the dreads. I am about to start the micro braiding process and I keep putting it off. But I know what I gotta do. Sigh. You look so beautiful and your hair looks gorgeous!

I luv the look i really want to get this style but my hair is way to long if i get a stylist i know they gonna charge me a arm and leg and maybe some toes too they charge me$ 350 already jus for regular size box braids so i need to learn how to do my own hair if i want small braids like urs but great job
i was thinking that this would take a million years to take down, but all you have to do is cut most of the braid off. that's nice. when your hair gets longer, i'm sure you'll make them bigger.
