Cody is my genuine favourite since Jeff Hardy. I’m loving his run and hope it continues for a while.

I personally would argue that this issue isn’t Cody it’s that they haven’t built any credible heels for him to face. I would even go as far as to say no matter what face has a tittle right now we would still have a meh attitude towards it because there aren’t enough true heels on the roster. Just my take though

People thought the grass was greener in aew because it was a brand new company. Of course it was gonna have all the attention on them because it was a honeymoon phase. People were interested in what a new wrestling company would bring to the table. Aew hasn’t proved that they have longevity like Wwe has over the last 60 years. If u ask me, even when wwe wasn’t the best creatively when Vince was there, it would’ve been wise to still stick it out because Wwe has a background. Now look what happened. Wwe business is the best it’s been in years. Thats y I was never the type of wrestling fan to turn my back on Wwe and jump on the aew bandwagon. It’s one thing to put on good shows when u first start up, but if u can’t keep that momentum going for years to come then what is there to invest in. Wwe has stood the test of time period. That’s literally why their slogan is “Then, Now, Together, Forever”. Can’t be so quick to jump on a company’s bandwagon if they haven’t proved themselves over a long period of time like Wwe has🤷🏽♂️💯 it’s almost like cheating on your girlfriend with a girl u think is better but then u realize u made a mistake🤣🤣💯💯
WWE is such a juggernaut that AEW will probably never have a shot at being #1 in any category. What's sad to me is that they were competitive in a few areas in 2021 but couldn't sustain the momentum.
