Good interview! I liked that he's honest about the stunts. I'm no actor...all I've ever done is a small role in community theatre. But I certainly admire the work of others. But I've always said that I don't feel like actors should do their own stunts. It's way too risky.
This is sort of relevant back in those days i was a big fan of the Sci-Fi show Battlestar Galactica. My Heroes were Captain Apollo and Starbuck. Then in 2008 I went on the anniversary Cruise of Battlestar Galactica and I got to meet in person the actor Richard Hatch who played Captain Apollo. And over the week I spent with him we became close friends because I am very humorous and he started teaching me how to be an actor.he said I was a natural because of my imagination I could react to things naturally that weren't even there because there's a child that's how I play. He liked me so much he wished he to known me sooner he talk like you would try to have got me on the Syfy Channel's Battlestar Galactica as a Viper pilot. But You see he was planning on bringing back the show. he informed me that he wanted me to play either his son in the show or Starbucks son in the show. He wanted actors who look like the characters and be the next generation of Viper Pilots. I kept going on cruises with him and remain friends with him until the day he died and every time I went on the cruise with him whether it be to Alaska Mexico or the Caribbean he always wanted me to go with him on these cruises. I went on these cruises because he was my friend and he was one of my childhood Heroes. I never dreamed that as a child that I'd ever meet these people let alone be friends with them through Richard Hatch I even got to meet Dirk Benedict who played Starbuck and we immediately hit it off it was like I was his son because we had the same sense of humor. Before Richard died I got a picture the three of us together of me with my two childhood Heroes of Captain Apollo and Lieutenant Starbuck with me. I wish to God we could have made that Battlestar Galactica Richard wanted to make just another dream unfulfilled sadly
