In this webinar on Lifestyle Medicine. Simon Curtis and Will Duffin are joined by Dr Camille Hirons. Camille is a GP, a certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician, the lead for health inequalities in her PCN and she has developed and introduced a NHS lifestyle medicine service in North Lewisham.
We discuss what we mean by Lifestyle Medicine, the ‘6 pillars’ of change, the evidence base that underpins it, how we can best help and support patients to adopt lifestyle change and most importantly how can it be practically and effectively delivered within NHS primary care at both an individual and systems level, especially in deprived areas with poor health outcomes.
