I have surfed there twice now, and its perfect for my level of progression. They are still tweaking the settings in order to get the waves perfect. For example, the first 2 waves of this set were great. The rest was a bit less. In the intermediate setting all the waves a much more consistent. Its already fun, but they will find more consistency in the long run
I surfed the Maasvlakte for about 10 years, including the old Maasvlakte. The waves are usually way better than this. I think it's a fun gimmick in the city, but I wonder if surfers will progress on this.

Why did they even bother making a wave pool that has waves this bad. It’s literally 0-1ft
did you see it in real life? I did and it is not too bad, They aren't bigger than that on the north sea over here, (almost the same hight even)
