@@rahulkshp25 He didn't give playback for anyone other than himself and Devanand. In those days the music directors preferred the singers who were classically trained. The compositions were based on ragas and they believed he could not justify the song. However playback singing is altogether different. Kishore Kumar could match with the actor and he could express the feeling of the song rather than the classical angle. His voice quality is unmatched and one does not get bored listening to the same song multiple times.
