Objectively tank with easiest stock grind lol, it has like an engine upgrade and tracks that you don't even need
Seriously, that's the best thing about the 430. A Tier 9 that doesn't have a stock grind is wonderful.

ah yes. i remember when i was grinding this tank. I was like damn i dont have to unlock anything, the stock configuration is the top configuration apart from the engine. Then i realized its a moving fire hazard.

I just finished the grind of this tank and i was suprised how good it worked. with the experimental hardening u never get set on fire and the as long u watch out for the calibers that overmatch the shoulders the armor works really good. But the potato gun and bad gundepression made it a pain to play sometimes
You should mark it then rerate it.

I feel sad I couldn't 3 mark this tank years ago. I always felt it was a very comfortable medium tank with ok gun, decent mobility and armor...at the time it led to the 430U when it wasn't nerfed yet. It's really nice to play it even from the get go because you don't have any other gun to research. This thing had scary DPM when it was tier X many years ago with the 100mm gun.
One of my favorite tanks. As long as you keep your engagements within medium to short range, the obj should perform best (depending on who you are engaging of course).
Been years since I played it but remember giving up med kit for food cuz you really need extinguisher....lol Like seeing these videos of the tanks I did play long ago and usually nowhere as good as Skill

i remember putting binos on the 430 til icould decide on the 3rd equipment because they were free to remove. bino 430 passive scout could be funny when someone came for the light tank spotting them and found a 430 instead.
I'm just mystified by the Kunze in the 2nd game. He camps base at the start, flees when enemies approach, but then goes super aggressive and instantly suicides on the other flank. Then THEY call the team "campers". It's amazing.

I feel like this tank is much like a 274a but a tier higher and without those sweet 290mm pen gold rounds! Gun takes quite a long time to aim but has kind of decent accuracy when fully aimed. Turret feels pretty tough and reliable but no gun depression. A bit better mobility than the 274a, can reliably hit 50kph where the 274a struggles to get past 40.
I still paly this tank everyday or almost and it is my go to vehicle, it can do anything almost. My gun works btw ;) (no rammer but aiming accuracy instead)
I loved this tank, one of the best in stock form. And very powerful.
Yep, its stock form is only missing the upgraded engine that gives you 40 more horsepower and some reduced fire chance (plus a completely redundant track upgrade that does *absolutely nothing* other than make the tracks marginally more durable). Though the engine upgrade is still worthwhile, since the 430's engine gets hit a lot.
In my experience with this tank, you can hit extreme shots on the move every now and then. It has great armor, except against artillery because of how flat you are. The XP grind isn't bad as well because you only need to research a few modules.
i play a lot with the obj 430 and 430U, and my personal experience and opinion is just aim your shots fully and equip an aiming device and your gun is pretty decent.

After buying the tier 10, I thoroughly miss this tank. Feels like the armor profile just works so much better a tier lower.
I actually really like this tank. Gun feels fine so long as you play close range, you can bully Lowe tiers like no one’s business and it’s a magic Russian tank so rng is manipulated in your favour.
U forget 1 think skill about 430, if you fight tier 8, this tank DPM is actually monster

The 430 still slaps. Did amazingly with mine but then I got the 430U and have done terribly with it. Don't really understand why, its basically the same tank but with a bigger gun.
Funny thing is that the tier 8 Chinese medium tank T-34-2 which is considered one of the worst tanks in the game has better gold pen of 280mm... And for some reason I like that... 😬... And skill I like your content
Looking at it strictly on paper the 430 shouldn't work all that well but I have one of my highest win rates at Tier 9 in this thing. First game was a 1st class, 2 games later I got the mastery, and I just kept stacking wins with it. Could be the team? I'm not sure, but it really really works well for some reason. At least with me. Beautiful tank.

obj 430 is perfect tank for me, the gun is working, the trollish armor also, everything just feels good in this tank. On the other hand, the 430U is not working at all, no idea why so. I wish i could find tank like 430 but in the 8 tiers 🙄

Man this thing is t9? back when I used to play I've the feeling it was t10. When USSR tree had 3 medium t10 and it boiled down to "do you want to tank as a medium?", "do you want to have the best dpm" or "do you want to play the jack of all trades, competent at everything medium".
obj430 is t10 but wg nerf he and move go t9 build new t10 obj430U
I played 430 recently. The gun is ok but hey 430U is around the corner and I would rather be playing that instead of 430 against Xs.
Obj.430 is a pretty good tank but it lacks much in gun depression, almost non existing
This tank unfortunately brings me problematic memories, the gun did not work at all for me. It is parked in the garage saving dust after I unlocked the tier X…. Maybe time to take it for a spin again..?
