At its price of 1.59 million pesos, The Geely azkarra Luxury is the most luxurious car that you can buy. It's not just luxurious for the money, I think it's good enough to challenge high end Mazdas and entry level European luxury cars. in this video, we do a thorough review of the Azkarra from the exterior, to the interior, to the driving experience.
Thanks to Geely Fairview for the lendout. If you're interested in the Azkarra, you may visit their showroom

Great review like always... Nice background music, too!
Thank you
Great review as usual, thanks!!
If Geely would add Android auto and carplay, auto braking, and adaptive cruise control to this car? Its game over..
They will.. let's wait
Very good review Sir Alex 👏👏👏 Geely is slowly (or abruptly?) turning the Philippine automotive industry upside down (luxury and tech features at very competitive prices, among others). With Geely, MG, Chery, GAC, Changan, and other Chinese brands/vehicles (such as the Ford Territory), Filipino customers need not just dream of luxury vehicles: they are realistically attainable.
Very articulate and detailed review. Good job!
Thank you
Straightforward as always. Kudos!!
Thank you
Excellent review! Been contemplating getting this car and I was happy to see you really testing out the driving experience.
The only issue I have with the azkarra is its cargo space :(
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
@@jaywalkur Sir, if budget wasnt an issue, will you get the Territory Titanium + or this one?
Good looking askara inside out. Expensive looking materials used inside the cabin. Ride nice also. Well detailed review sir alex. Stay safe always. Godbless. 🤗🐫🙏
Thank you :)
Seemingly beautiful enough, but hat about its reliability Nice review
Thanks
Nice review!!!
Thanks
How's the fuel economy, the 4x4 performance and the safety ratings?
Dabest review❤
howre the headlights at night? from the video it doesnt seem that bright.
Finally, the Azkarra review. Thanks Jay! I love the part when you did the 0-100 km run. BTW, how does it feel to drive? Does it feel heavy? Thanks.
Thanks. Feels heavier than the coolray definitely but because of its high power to weight ratio and its responsive steering, not as heavy as it should
jaywalkur, i need ur expert opinion, im deciding b/w the 2, which do you prefer tiggo 7 pro or azkarra and why? thanks.
driven both, ended up getting the azkarra :)
China cars not yet established
I bet Jay has to cut while talking in the intro coz of the hair😂✌
True :)
at 1.6M, which do you think is a better buy purely as a car(whether it be a crossover or a sedan/hatch)? a high end mazda 3 or this one?
Azkarra
I'd go for the mazda 3 hatch. I'd also choose the Azkarra but since you mentioned which is the better buy...
The Chinese version has a voice command with Bose sound system they called it Boyue something like the Philippine version is downgrade 😔

That hair ..
IMO, the trunk capacity is absurdly small. Nowadays even compact hatchbacks have bigger ones. This is a deal breaker
why you talk that way man?
what's up with the periods...

Seriously?😜😆
Seems to me, the way he talks and present himself has nothing to do with editing... It looks "OA" if he wants to be taken seriously as car guy... The videos should be about the cars presented...
Just an observation...
FYI... Your comment is not a sentence...
Big difference in "trying desperately" to be cool and smart with your so called reply on my comment and actually being one... 😜😆
This car is really attracting a lot of attention but I'm not jumping the bandwagon yet because this platform is not matured yet. We need to know the first hand experiences of the early buyers before we can conclude about the reliability. This is the same stigma that the Korean cars went through last time but over the years they managed to get the trust of the consumers. I have 3 issues with Geely, the DCT is very expensive to replace once damaged due to misuse or not in compliance with the preventive maintenance, the EMS battery is also expensive to replace and the longevity is questionable. At least with Toyota hybrid system the batteries will last the lifetime of the car. How about the Geely batteries? Last is the EMS synergy activates the engine shut off as soon as it decelerate below 15km/hr. This frequent stop/start of engine can cause accelerated wear and tear on the engine especially on the traffic condition of Metro Manila. Although it is cheaper, it lacks other tech features that can be found in Honda Sensing, Toyota Safety Sense or Subaru Eyesight. The cost of long term ownership for fuel and maintenance is higher also considering the cost of replacement for DCT and Batteries. I will prefer the facelifted Honda CRV diesel if it comes out in the market even though it is more expensive because it has a proven platform, frugal fuel consumption that is even better compared to Mild Hybrid, and the resale value is much higher compared to a Chinese made cars. Don't get me wrong, this is a personal opinion. If your budget is enough for Azkarra, by all means follow your heart.
