That was wonderful ! Have been down under four times starting in my late 40's. You basically did all the same thing I did -Take notes You Tubers- Casinos- I was a bit luckier than you making enough for those pies and flat white coffees everyday - As a Canadian our dollar goes further down under and so does the U.S. dollar- transit is great to around and last thought- STOP IN HAWAII both ways - it gets rid of jet lag and is so relaxing. I was in Portugal recently, staying in a city called Cascais. There was a casino nearby, I didn’t have much time to explore the casino but what I did see and play were older machines maybe 5 years old or older.

When you do come to the UK again as part of this challenge remember that you have to register to play at proper casinos and then they won’t let you gamble there for 24 hours after you register.

Crown Casino in Melbourne is the best in Australia. Also, that pie was not what we eat. A pie normally comes with tomato sauce not covered in peas and mash, that is a british thing I reckon.

You'll find in Australia, we have Gaming Lounges in most Pubs and best of all in CLUBS. RSA, Sports Clubs which are practically in every suburb and they are like mini Casinos literally, with separate smoking areas in all. Have fun. Greta, your reaction to the koalas at the Taronga zoo is priceless!
I lived 14 years in Sydney, 8 of them in Woolloomooloo by Harry's de Wheels. Made me a little nostalgic for Sydney. The pedestrian bridge links the CBD to Darling Harbor. Well done on getting a win and leaving pronto. I would say that New Zealand prepared coffee is another level above Australian. NZ does hospitality very well too. We call those 'mall areas' shopping arcades. Auckland, NZ has them too - all original from back in the day. Cheers!
