That RL body reminds me so much of a new RL Loadmaster LM120 in that red color that serviced my town in New York in 1985. I remember the chassis was a single axle MackRD600 steel nose bonnet. That truck combo was a beauty!! I wish I had pictures lol!!!
Very very fantastic video Mitch must be so busy collecting the bins I think there Sulo but you know its hard work man must be so hot and sweaty being a garbage man isn't it.
Yeh they would've been charged for extras. Depends on the customer too, some will pay for any additional waste collected, but then some refuse to pay for extras, so you only take the amount they pay for.
@Jorgen87 Oh this is only a small place, not like an actual village if you know what I mean. The bins you see here are pretty sufficient for this spot, you don't need anything larger for what is produced.
@TheSunmanho They had a lot of excess waste here that week and the bags are very heavy when full, so putting too much in one of the bins would make them harder to move.
@djzee1000 - We are not supposed to get out of the dustcart, especially since one of the drivers did that and somebody reached into the lorry and stole the keys, god knows why? But they could just as easily have stolen the dustcart.
@nadoeloiskat Varies considerably depending on where you work - there are also not too many garbo jobs over here where you get salaries, tends to be paid by the hour. Best indication I can give you is that AU$25 is the average hourly rate for a driver, but that can easily go over AU$30 depending on a number of factors.
The bins in the first two dumps were "Ossie Plastics", the second bin in the third dump was a "SULO" and I think the 2 bins in the fourth dump were "Nylex" or "Older SULOs"...
NO me parece que toda la basura valla indiscriminadamente al camion. Se fijan como también los desechos que son para reciclaje van al mismo camión??? Para qué entonces recilclar???? ME PARECE MUY MAL

Yer MIT was bought out by Doyles Bros - they kind of 'merged together' - they service heaps of Sydney!
One man job , multiple pick up ,hard work all day long stay safe!
Those two yellow lidded bins were for residential collections.
In my town we have about 57000 € / 79000 $ for this job. 9 months work, 3 months holiday :)
£16,000-£21,000 here

If you're picking enough up, just means the job will take longer and more money if paid by the hour =]
@djzee1000 This actually a 1-man job, so the driver is the bloke you see doing the work on the outside.

They ran out of bins to fill... not going to carry the excess by hand to the truck.
