Nope! The elastics straps are wide and high quality so they stay taunt even after a lot of use. They also have rubber grips on both sides of each strap. Just don't buy a cheap knockoff, get the real Cocoon brand grid its.

I love the idea of this bag. Sadly I already have too many expensive bags to justify purchasing an additional one. However luckily I could purchase the inserts. I picked up one from my "Adventure" bag and it works incredible. I picked up the smallest one they had and it fits perfect with all my chargers and cords. Thanks for an awesome video.

Put them in the straps that are perpendicular to the ground so the items aren't influenced by gravity, walking fast/up & down the stairs.

I bought this bag about one year ago, after 4 months the zipper broke, and i couldn't close the bag anymore, the handles couldn't support the weight of mine 15 inch macbook pro. The seams of the handles came loose and eventually they broke off.
Its very nice bag, but poor quality. I think they focused too much on the design of te Grid system and not so much on the quality of te rest of the bag.
I suggest to people who want to buy the bag to buy the grid system to put in your bag instead of the bag :)

AceaFTW funny joke (i liked it), but pencil can easily be erased and could lead to fakes documents etc. normal pens don't get erased so easily.

I have the slightly bigger version of this backpack (tech 16' I believe) and it is AMAZING! I've been using it as my main bag for about 6 months now and it's worked great. The straps, grid it system, zippers, etc haven't deteriorated or ripped. I am an artist (industrial design student) in college and this helps to organize various pens, markers, chargers, and anything else really. A worth while buy imo

I've had one for a couple of years and the elastic is absolutely fine. Sooner or later it will lose its elasticity but nothing lasts forever.

So how does it keep up? I see a lot of people in Amazon complaining about the straps' stitching coming off, or the zippers failing.
As someone who has used one of these, unfortunately 90% of that stuff will be at the bottom of the pocket in a mess at the end of the day. Love the channel, just wanted to make a PSA.
Would literally have to flip the bag on its side and unzip it fully to access something. I prefer eBag's side fold organizer. Accessible if folded flat or vertical and no sacrifice to quick grabs. Grid it's are only appealing to those people who want a single good Instagram shot of their gear bag.

My keys are clipped in my backpack!! My passport in my pocket!! Any wires that I need are stuffed into the perimetre of my luggage. CAuse when I travel....I STAY!! The reviews on this are _SHOCKING_ - apparently it falls apart after 3-4 weeks, with the stitching coming undone on the straps, the zips pulling apart & it just being useless
Yes, the Grit-It system is a great idea, but maybe the company should get the bags made *PROPERLY* so that people's equipment doesn't suddenly hit the floor when a strap falls off!!!

Cocoon products are expensive but I love them. I bought a grid in clearance on Office Max but unfortunately I won't always find a good price for them. I do however recommend to buy the grid separately.

I'd rather use a northface HOTSHOT backpack that I'v still had for about 6 years.
I got it but absolutly not solid... after 3 weeks he is already ripping of and I only use to carry my asus ux32vd with 1 notepad... definitivly design issue, sadly for that price.

A must backpack. But as seen from the reviews in amazon in a regural use it could last up to 3-4 month due to its bad quality (especially with its straps). So i am thinking if its worth buying it.

mmm.. 20 minutes to meticulously arrange items just so you have to subsequently splay the bag wide open to recover, versus 4 seconds to dump everything in an be able to equally quickly rummage your way to success. Seems like a terrible idea.

You use a nexus 6P, but you use a Samsung quick charge for that? You OCD wouldn't allow it
