Boy Dudley you have lost some weight. Looking good man
Im ready, I spent a lot of money and time tuning and tinkering with my arrows to get darts. Today I verified the build with broadheads and I am happy. Now its on me.
Thank you for your commitment educating us and making us better archers. Question: I believe I never heard you mention nock tuning - is nock tuning just irrelevant?
I have brand new Gold Tip Velocity XT 300 spine, but I will definitely keep some of this in mind.
You are looking good, bro!
Yes. For the last three seasons my hunting bow has been slinging the following: Easton 250 Procomp. 715 grains. 25% FOC. 200 grain fixed broadhead. 253 FPS.
Yes they are, lots of time spent getting them right.
Dude. Dudley looking in shape! Looks like he's been working out... has he always looked like that or is here getting into the ol' TRT?
Good job
JD, what’s your arrow tuning process?
You built them so I hope so 😉
Great advice... please don't try to save $15 with a sketchy arrow... it's not worth it. It can get really dangerous.
I agree! Would you rather spend a couple extra dollars or spend thousands on hand surgery’s.
How do you recommend getting the excess glue off the shaft once you’ve removed the fletching?
Acetone is a good option. Just put some on a paper towel and rub the glue off.
I spin and shoot my arrows a couple times. Then I pull my hunting arrows and they are for hunting only and never get used otherwise.
What did Cliff do to anger you?
Hey, I shoot a mission switch at like 45 pounds and last year I didn’t get very good Penetration. So this year I’m thinking of shooting 5mm arrow is that to thin for white tail?
What is your draw length?
More like the 45 pounds is the problem.
@@GertTown he is probably a kid or is old with a shoulder injury. Go easy.
5mm is good for hunting. Shoot a fixed blade head!
For that draw weight there is only one thing to do. Go heavy on your total arrow weight with emphasis on FOC and stay away from mechanical heads. At that low of draw weight you will waste precious energy trying to get the blades deployed. Like Ashby said "go as heavy as you can while still being happy with the arrow's trajectory".
Yeppir…
NOCK ON
No. No they’re not.
Sorry… totally off subject… what’s up with your hair??? Totally ok with it, but if you are going to go extreme with your haircut, address it up front… I know we are all totally onboard, but when left to wonder, we are going… what is up?🤣😂🤔
I enjoy going totally extreme from time to time so I’m on board, but just thought a little feedback might be good. Thanks for all of your work… I really appreciate all your information!!!
Man, I want to like John Dudley's videos but he just takes forever to get to the point about anything. Check out inside out precision. That guy is dropping bits of knowledge left and right and he doesn't talk slow as hell.
