Hi John, well done, I take my hat off to you! I as a time served engineer myself I am fascinated by what you are doing. I’ve worked in both heavy and light engineering and often in collaboration with tool makers of various disciplines. I’ve memories of rows of small toggle presses on the shop floor. Also Jones and Shipman grinders too. Your videos are really enjoyable and I know who I’ll be contacting when I need my harmonicas repairing! Have a good Easter.

Shows you how accomplished Mathias Hohner was and what he may have used in designing his harmonicas considering Germanys lack of resource back then

Hello, John! I'm amazed by your videos and your skills, well done! Looks like the brass sheet is "folded" just before you cut the reed off. Why do you make this folds? What's its function? Please tell me if you have that folding process on video, I'm really curious about it. Matheus, Brazil.

its not a fold. Where the metal has been milled off the top part looks folded but its not .its just a sheet of phosphur bronze.

Hi sorry I dont make tooling to sell. I think you only need to send a component to a chinese toolmaker and they will make you one very cheap.
