Solid build brother, used to play Vauban a while ago but got pretty bored of him because no build I made worked as I wanted it to work, he's just too energy hungry this guy!, this build is motivating me to play him again.
Thx I feel you he demands so much. I tried to do a orbital strike build but couldn't get it to perform . But you should pick him up again especially for lvl cap since his flechette orb and orbital scale with enemy lvl
Subsumed tempest barrage with viral tempest mod , vortex, flachete grenades, max range , just over 100% strength using arcane for more strength, arcane for more duration , place vortex use X3 tempest berrages, place all 4 flachete grenades near vortex , send out roller electric balls , and use aoe weapons to destroy anything that gets sucked in , so much fun 😊 , sorry can't remember specific mods I use but if you're interested I could send details after I've finished work.
@gremrper I wasn't around for that bit but tbh that doesn't sound bad aside from how de keeps up with their ceiling respawn thingy that keeps happening when you go too high. Either way enemies flying around helplessly is funny as fuck 🤣
Im also not a fan of it. I think when a few frames can do it then it’s fine like hildryn/protea or maybe a frame that has 0 survivability. Hopefully some day heath tanking gets better in those higher lvls
Have tried my hardest to make his 3 work. It just doesn't have spicy enough scaling, nor does his kit really do enough to make it pop off. If they slapped a condition overload effect on it, it would be perfect.
I used to love him, but he's clunky atm. He's most important ability is his 4 and that's his clunkiest ability. Every time you use Vortex, enemies are stuck to everything and not where they supposed to be, in the Vortex. The rest of his abilities are meh.

Used to main vauban, and this build lowkey motivated me to play it more often. Good idea using the pistol arcane for extra survivability 😂❤
I built my Vauban for high level defence/survival missions he's one of my favourites to use and nearly crashes the game with my build 😂 🎉

Also got X2 green archon crystals to strip armour instantly, 1 energy, 1 strength, 1 shield crystal aswell

With that mod and X2 green crystals instantly takes armour away it's great 👍

But it replaced jump pad. i miss my trampoline

I always hated shield gate, still after they reworked it, I did level cap cascades with Revenant if I played atk and Xaku if I was defending

Maybe we will get another vauban rework soon to fix some his 3’s numbers and remove vector pad

Not a guge Vauban fan but I enjoy underrated frames getting some support.
