Also if you're just generally following whoever and bump into the same guy that's luck not tunneling. Tunneling is focusing on one person intentionally and not giving them a chance to really play
Kevin is one of those youtubers/streamers who are so honest to his viewers and himself about his mental health. The fact he was even able to come out with saying the only reason he hasnt been doing streams lately is the anxiety he is facing and that is very something I admire from him. I'm really glad he is now taking more care of himself and as much as I loved the often streams I always thought about how much he does for his viewers/subscribers and that it had to be really stressful for him to upload back to back content plus streams. Plus I think it sheds some light on the fact that famous people can still have anxiety even if its there job to be a content creator!
Tunneling maybe considered poor etiquette but certain Killers require it and get benefits with their perks for targeting the obsession. I feel like if the devs wanted to avoid tunneling they wouldn't put so much emphasis on the obsession.
I remember when I used to play, I'd almost always be a survivor and it was a point of humor for me and my friends when we got tunneled. We'd either get to play the hero or lead the killer to everyone else. Good times.
But don't most obsession perks reward you for not tunneling the obsession Dying light, save the best for last, play with your food, dark devotion, furtive chase, even rancor makes you leave the person until the end if you want to mori them. All of these reward you for chasing a mix of the obsession and the other survivors.
Problem about that, is then the jerks that would teabag after jumping over a pallet, and trash talk him after the matches is sucky, but with your advice makes it the same for them too then. "they can play however they want, if Kevin complains its his problem not theirs" bad mindset.
@@CoLdBITeR I agree with this. I’ve started playing recently and when experienced Survivors figure out that you’re a new Killer, they usually start trolling or being toxic. Accidental tunnelling is going to happen when you’re new, even if you try to avoid it. If someone says “tunnelling is fine and it’s only the Survivors’ problem and not yours”, then that immediately means that Survivors can be toxic and troll in return. It works both ways
2:45:00 Kevin's little community being filled with decent people who lean heavily toward being supportive and kind, I almost forgot how vicious the gaming community can be.
Some tips for you with nemesis Kevo, keep an eye out on your zombies they can give you alot of information if it has its hands out its chasing a survivor and if its looking to the sky it means a survivor has blinded it with a flashlight. Its also a lot quicker to break pallets with his tentacle, but all in all I love your videos and watch it all of the time.
"don't have mutiple people down to lure others in" why? it's a strategy also if they are around trying to mess up what I wanna do with the first person I'll get them so they stop interrupting me and by extension have multiple people down lol also I don't feel like it can be tunneling when you just happen to only see the 1 person lol also also when survivors play agressive enough it happens to look like camping a hook
I love DBD and when Anna started playing it I hoped Kevin would join her. It's cool to see them both playing but taking on different roles. The killer role definitely suits Kevin best haha.
Hi Kevin, If you feel pressured to read all the donations and subs, is there any way you can turn off all the subs and donations, maybe it would take the pressure off of you and make the streams a more relaxing experience and just for fun? Just an idea, great to see you back but don't stress :))
I've honestly never liked the whole sub and donation system, or at least what it's become for most channels. It always seems like it pushes streamers to respond to every single thing and then half the stream is just reading off names and responding to messages. There's just something off putting about paying streamers money just so they'll notice you or read your message out loud. We should be donating & subbing to streamers cause we want to support them, not so people can force the streamer to give them a pat on the head during a live stream. Idk maybe it's just me, but I feel like that's what streaming has devolved into a lot of the time. If people feel angry or betrayed because a streamer doesn't read off their name for a sub or donation, that's just pathetic and really emphasizes the fact that those people aren't primarily donating to support them, but because they want some sort of personal acknowledgement of their existence for whatever reason.
@@thehumanity0 You're extremely right. It's a really screwed up system; the more popular a streamer gets, the more insufferable they are to watch or listen to. I'm really glad that Kevin toned down on it- anything before like 2021 is entirely unwatchable.

Something small I noticed on your first plague game, always remember that you cannot kick a gen if someone is on it. For example, I immediately knew someone was on the gen in the bathroom because you approached it and no kick option was present. :)
I hope he can keep up with streaming again, maybe not as often. Idk I like the feeling of live Kevin than UA-cam video Kevin. I also hope he continues playing Miitopia too.
It was so lovely to see you back on Stream Kevin! I really do hope you're genuinely happy and doing well in Spain, if you ever need anything you know the cult (legally not a cult) is always here. Honestly, like many others, I am happy to watch whatever Kevin streams whenever he streams it! He really is just an enjoyable (and weirdly relaxing, all deaths considered) person to watch!
I would actually recommend investing bloodpoints into killers you dont even play, kevin, so that you can get them up in higher levels and unlock their teachable perks. This means that then you can actually use that perk on other killers once you unlock them in the bloodweb
I’m SO excited that Kevin is playing DBD. My husband and I are obsessed with it and we both said “I hope Kevin plays it sometime, he’d cause so much chaos” 😂.
only just started playing DBD again after 2 years and really been enjoying it for the past 2 months, its so cool to see you playing it aswell and I really hope this isn't the last of it
It's okay Kevin. You are doing really great. Anybody that will pay to get their name noticed is already okay. Everyone else, and those who pay, are here to watch you and support you. At least I truly believe that.
Regarding the opening, it's difficult to learn a new language and develop a new friend circle. It takes time, but eventually one day you just find yourself there. I learned to accept the awkward beginnings and be patient with myself. My language difficulties were between Brazil and the US. But you learn to pick up and navigate the complexness of the new culture.
Lol, I saw Otz teaching Anna to play and was like "Now he has to teach Kevin!! I wanna see Kevin somehow make friends in this game!!" ... and now I have these streams. It's great. Don't let the endgame chats get to you too much
All you have to remember is that only what killers do is bad also the purple tombstone piece is basically a better version of the red tombstone as you can get it quicker
Weirdly, despite his penchant for killing, Kevin was the last person I expected to start playing Dead by Daylight. I'm so fucking hype for this comeback. I adore dbd and I'm super excited to see how he plays it - It seems like a lot of creators that have felt stressed for youtube, or content creating/editing have started going almost exclusively DBD on Twitch, and really seem to enjoy the new outlet, especially because the DBD community is so huge that some of those creators have made second youtube channels just for dbd clips. I hope it helps Kevin the same.

I dunno, though. I don't have the thickest skin for that kind of thing.
it's an "unwritten rule", because when you HARD tunnel like he did, you are basically robbing another person of playing the game, i think it's understandable to get a little salty when that happens, since you cant really do anything about it. tunnelling IS and CAN be a very very good strategy depending on the situation though, and is sometimes inevitable. you are allowed to play however you want, and other people are free to express their feelings on however you played. besides, you can always hide the endgame chat
That's fair. I don't play the game myself, and I only watch Kev's because it's not as scary as watching from a survivor's angle. I just feel bad for people like Kevin who don't know they're doing something wrong, then get bashed for it. Because it clearly affected him, and he's always seemed to try not to do the wrong thing since. Which would be good, but I don't like the emotional effect. It's sooo creepy.... One day I had the thought 'mhhh seeing dead by daylight from Kevin would be nice but I guess that won't happen... It's not his type of game...' and now BAM I swear it's creepy ... xd
I played this with my gf the other week, we were in a public and there was 3 of us, we were Both on the third hook stage so would die if we were hooked, the other survivor was hooked and was being camped by the killer, we opened the gate and then had a look to see if we could get him, no we couldn’t- so we left and won…he then messaged complaining that “it’s a game about teamwork” to which I said “‘teamwork’ not ‘suicide’
Tbh I don’t see the problem with tunnelling. Sure it gives the killer a good advantage, but like… that’s the point? Is having your mouse plugged into the computer ‘bad etiquette’?
Although you can do it, keep it mind from the Survivors perspective it can end your match very fast, although Survivors could always just get better at looping, dbd has a very divided community of either sweaty toxic players (who complain a lot) and the kindest most chillest people on the planet (who don't care what you do).
I would 100% watch Kevin play Pirates of the Caribbean again from scratch. No question. Watching the archive of it was an absolute delight for me-- though I'm glad the megaphone has been phased out of streams since then.
It's really nice to see Kevin progressing so well in many things at once, learning Spanish, guitar and taking care of his mental health.
