Quest Helper is such a game changer, not quite OSRS level but boy does it make quests a breeze! I like reading dialogue and usually know what the next step of the quest is but it's a nice benefit to have if you get stuck or just don't want to do a puzzle. I used it for the first time last weekend and knocked out the entire penguin storyline and got caught up on the desert storyline for the new quest. LOVE IT!
Thanks for the vid. I'll pass on any 3rd party programs. Been playing 24 years without them. Not going to start now. Also ELY is shady AF, do some research on who runs it... Anyways, appreciate the vid! See ya in the next one!
That's like foregoing the wiki because you've been playing without it. They're an immense help to the game and just are some huge QoL boosts that everyone can benefit from. ESPECIALLY afkwarden.
@@PartyhatRS To each their own. If you feel the need to use them, go for it. I use the Wiki, great tool. But 3rd party programs is a risk I'm not willing to take with my accounts. If you want to use them, I have nothing against it.
Anyone looking to do clue scrolls with Alt1 get the clue trainer add on to use over the clue solver already on Alt1. I've done ~1500 elites and ~2000 hards using Clue Solver, and only ~50 of each using clue trainer, but even with the small sample size clue trainer is 100% better and faster.
alt 1 / runelite are pretty much cheating, although cosigned by Jagex, use at your own risk, your account is much more susceptible to being hacked, so I've heard, so I've never used them
Depends on what you consider cheating. Either way, Jagex wouldn't literally implement them as their standard client if they think it was cheating, at least for runelite. It's the PLUGINS that can be cheating.
its more accurate than the GE price tho for newer items. Just dont take it as fact but more as a ballpark price, as he says multiple times in the video. stabilized items, yes dont bother.
Init hasn't unlocked fairy rings without the staff? That's not very surprising... The OSRS ge checker plugin checks the ge confirmed sells and buys every how many minutes/hrs(depends on settings) from the actual osrs ge section and calculates a mid price as well the highest/lowest amounts(if you have high/low turned on). Dunno why that can't be coded into RS3 to have better updates on the current prices
The main thing why ge can't work i guess is because there is a massive database of items that must be tracked also tracking each sale is demanding a lot of system resource. I'm dissatisfied with ely gg that I don't know where these prices are coming from and who is entering them, because many times I have sold my items, they never sold in that range but there must be some other factor that caused that price change.
3rd party plugins are what opens the door to hackers and bot and generally people that degrade the game at the cost of anyone not willing to sacrifice their account security by installing it. whilst it's a "legal cheat" as in jagex aren't saying "don't use it" it's not listed on their website anywhere. for those saying it's not a cheat, it literally is a screen-reader that solves dynamic content (dynamic: changing/random) in the case of clues, it makes puzzle skip tickets (a reward with a g/e cash value of millions) redundant. its the scummiest program that ever came to RS. that said, OSRS have runelite that is much worse. still, two wrongs don't make a right.
Alt1 Toolkit is not an open door for hacking or botting. It can read your screen, and that's the most powerful thing it does. Puzzle skips are still very valuable, despite the solver existing for about as long as the skips themselves.
Does anybody know how the necromancy job guide works? I added it to my alt1, but it's never able to work. It just says it can't see anything on the buff bar when i start it up. I checked my interface settings, and they are set to the correct settings it says that it needs for it to work. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but i wanted to try it out if i could.
Not high priority but jagex need to sort out the ge prices shouldn't have to rely on a 3rd party site that people manipulate to get in game prices. Cant be that difficult to just increase the price refresh timer? Ahah you said exactly this 😅
the problem with alt 1 is how it has a LOOOOOT of problem with UI scaling to work properly :/ at least the last time i was using it. anyone knows if it became better ? cause i'm really interested to give it a new try.
There are 2 options: Change DPI override on the client exe file (tutorial on how to do so is on the RuneApps forum) or if you use 125% windows scaling, you can change your interface to be 80%. Most users go for the first option. By default, Alt1 only works with 100%/100% windows to rs interface scaling
@@exinferi i'll come back to you after i finished DXP and give it a try. i know alt1 is god damn fooking useful and i wish i could use it , but with my runescape Interface scaling at 110, i dunno if it'll work. let's try it out :D
@@fatbap 2023 Jagex messed with the DPI scaling and it conked Alt 1 out for a lot of people but i found that you can manually change it back in the launcher.exe properties. Thanks for letting me know theres a possibility
This tool has existed for nearly a decade, and whilst it's sort of possible to create malicious third party apps that uses screencaptures for a bankpin, there's no such thing as adding a keylogger to grab passwords or anything.

I’ve heard Jagex likes to keep the GE suggested priced fixed to attempt at controlling the market

Is there any trick to when you use full screen mode alt1 hide it self.
How can I make it stay on the top for doing clues I need it.
Thanks
How do you get the job gauges?! Help! Been using alt 1 for clues but I don’t see that feature
It's in the forums section for third party add on. It's in there
ely is VERY easily manipulatied. I would NOT trust it PERIOD.

Help it by updating the prices when you can. The more data they get, the less influence a small group can have.
@@louim001 This doesnt work. Ive absolutely posted prices with ins inb and it was deleted by them shortly after.
