Russell Koopman made the observation that the drone kick out timing was possibly a necessary time to hit the hives with OA sublimation. The "Koopman affect". Great to have your observations on the topic. Thank you brother.

Have you done any mite washing? What are those counts?

Hello, no, I didn't do mite washing. Just treat the whole colony and check if there's any mites dropped. It's in between 1 to 21 mites in one colony. I don't know what is equivalent in percentage count.

An interesting service that I’ve tapped into, which has helped me get a good handle on my disease situation is I have subscribed to the disease monitoring program through our KRTP, tech transfer program. The service costs pretty much what the cost of the lab work. I’ve brought them out to sample 2 yards for varroa, nosema and virus. It helps me verify my own monitoring and it provides me access to professional feedback on these types of things
