Genshin has 70 M + playerbase, dead players or alive doesn't really matter. Bcz the dead players are moving to wuwa and some alive like 10 M are moving to wuwa while like 5 would play both
It's basically a bit like the economy. genshin holds the monopoly on the genre so there is no real competition a bit explained why hoyoverse is so greedy I hope this game is a real competitor to genshin
I play Genshin & Starrail, and I know they are not without their faults. what draws me in is the story ,the world building ,the lore, the characters stories and personalities and interactions, basically I love getting emotionally invested in the characters the story and the world. I played Cbt2 for Wuthering waves & I honestly like the game, I see things that WuWa does better than Hoyo AND to be completely honest I'm gonna try my darndest to make room to also play WuWa . I don't want Genshin to " die" I want them all to succeed there's even other " Genshin style games " I've seen that I'm interested in one that comes to mind is Project Mugen one reason I've been able to play Genshin everyday without a break since global launch is because I branch out and try other games quite often even if I don't end up sticking with the other side games I hope Wuwa can succeed and make hoyo do better anywho sorry for the long post lol
I'm a genshin player and i want WuWa to success too, but for different reason: So the cancer of GI fanbase can just move there lmao jokes aside tho i want to try it but my problem is how dead the world looks like, not in term of fidelity because its better than genshin by miles, but the overall tone and color design is just grim and unappealing, even after they improved it the thing is i heard things about the in game setting that allowing player to add more vibrance to the game but so far i cant see any showcase for it, if anyone can confirm (or even better show it) that would be great!
People say that WW is bad and everyone should ignore it are just paid hoyo-fans. And they are paid to do it just because hoyo don't want to actually work. They want to get maximum revenue with minimum effort. This is how industry work. And if WW (and then Mugen) succeeds then hoyo will have to think and work on improvement of their games or else they will keep only minority of their player base and those, who love idle games (such as HSR, but you still have to play it for few minutes between auto-battles). And that mean that they may lose around 70% of their profits. And if you had 3 milion salary and starting next month you will get only 50 thousands then you will start using your head
With more competition, there will be more good content being brought by the devs and it won't be a lackluster content. Genshin needs to have something new and fresh rather than keeping the sane idea over and over
I quit genshin in 1.5 for 7 months came back and well same issue as I did back then I only get to play the game for more than 20 minutes once a patch then nothing else so would be nice if someone could compete and take away some of the player base but odds are it won't happen sadly
My take is that WuWa must succeed so all those toxic vocal "eNdGaMe EnThUsIaSts", "sToRy SkIpPeRs" and "dRaMa StOkErS" will go there and stay... So that "hArDcOrE sKiLl ElItIsTs" will have a place to flex their oh-so cool Boss clears in WuWa and that "mInTpIcKeRs" will stay in line with Genshin... I am sick and tired of the drama coming from BOTH sides so yeah...
It's not that we don't want it to suceed, it's just that it can't succeed bcz if no reactions meaning no real reason to have elements. Like there's this game called stellar blade oyt now and I'd rather play that instead of wuwa.
I saw a comment of a person on Brian's video about WuWa's weapon banner, a person in the comment was being negative about the game in every single aspect even brian has to respond to it, its weird that there are people like this, as if they didnt knew what is wrong with GI at present. regardless I really want GI to improve so does WuWa in the future, I just dont get it that QoLs in HSR is the reason just now GI is improving its QoL, 3 years was all it took...
Genshin won't die atleast for Next 6 years That i know, they have a plan for more than 10 years it's obv gonna go beyond Teyvat. Ik it's the fans That are Killing it, more than 2m Subs of Gi Went to wuwa . Half of them will gradually Come back sometime later not just to Genshin but to Honkai star rail as well
Kuro: Nah We'd win Incandescent Ode of Ressurection(Natlan) is coming: Kuro: *Realized on what happened to Tower of Fantasy when Sumeru was realesed Kuro:😢😵💀
Tof had a lot of issues on day one. Hackers, crashes, servers not being able to handle the massive amount of people trying to login etc. The first region was also terrible with a terrible story to the point that the devs implemented a skip 1.0 function so you can start directly from 2.0. Tof killed its own popularity but it still makes a lot of money so its not a failure.
@@Shangb33 In short a simple comparison would be that like I said, its an MMORPG against a Single player RPG. Lets adress the elephant in the room here, The studio behind TOF had a long way to get the servers to work (its their first time). Success is not Final and Failure is not Fatal.
The problem with genshin is that it's just hoyos cash cow and they won't improve it no matter what competition comes in the market they won't push it to its true max potential. Bcz that devil of a company only wants to pamper their trashy unpopular, unsuccessful honkai projects, if i were in their shoes I'd focus my efforts on what's successful than to cling to what's barely just running even if it were my dream.
I have a feeling influencers are being paid to talk bad about WuWa. On the other hand it is kinda what you can expect from a community known for its toxicity. I agree with you competition breeds excellence.
No, i don't think you should support the most generic clone without any new ideas. I really wanted ToF to succeed, because they at least tried something new, which is gacha mmo hybrid, but sadly the execution wasn't the best to say the least.
Insulting the game and wishing it to not succeed is EXACTLY the opposite of the point im trying to make here. Even if YOU aren't interested in the game, you STILL should want it to succeed. If you dislike wuthering waves that's fine, but you have to admit that competition is healthy.
The fact that WuWa has gained 31 millions of followers is a statement how many people want someone thing NEW in their plate.
Personally I can't wait to play WuWa
Genshin has 70 M + playerbase, dead players or alive doesn't really matter.

competition is always a win for us consumers, I'm just hoping it'll actually do well. big fan of pgr so I've got some faith for kuro games
But kuro sucks at story writing and graphics that's a nail in the coffin.
It's only the combat that they make good
I can already see those White Knights start bombarding Wuwa with negative reviews once the game is released.
Hopefully people will see that they just have to sit back, relax and profit from Kuro and Hoyo clashing with eachother
AND THATS THE TRUTH
We got a lot in the stories, it would be great to get more videos on WuWa's lore 🥺
It's basically a bit like the economy. genshin holds the monopoly on the genre so there is no real competition a bit explained why hoyoverse is so greedy I hope this game is a real competitor to genshin

it will succed. I'll make it happen
Well said brother indeed gi might actually listen to its players if wuwa succeeds

imagine you want the only competition that Genshin ever had to not succeed
you can't really count TOF as a competition that game was a different ganra
Hmm, I wonder if my laptop with only iGP Intel Iris Xe (13th gen) can play this game 😐
I’m just hoping it will fix the problems I had with Genshin. I still don’t get why it should take minutes to kill a basic enemy

bgm name sir
It's the Wuthering Waves new website OST, you hear it play on the official wuthering waves website as well

Nah that game is an MMO bro, theres a difference. Now we are getting a game that is the same genre with GI.

Based
Nahh I think this game will go Tower of Fantasy treatment
People are Mostly expecting Combat from This Game Some of them will easily get burned out later , well, lets see how it goes

Wuthering Waves lord suck

genshin is better
