Yes to this!! I purchased the same security cage for my own Mac Studio. I was completely disappointed. It’s hard to install because they don’t have access holes in the top - I had to angle my screwdriver a lot. The lock is a joke - a child could remove it in 5 seconds. My friend is an IT Manager for a university, and he told me about a more substantial, locking enclosure by the company that did this review. (I think they also sell under the names “BMS” or “AnchorPad”). Their (BMS’) Mac Studio enclosure is a full, steel cage with a hinged door and a hefty cam lock. The door even has a flange that helps to Gaurd the lock. It would take a thief much longer to defeat the BMS Mac Studio Enclosure. It does cost a little more. But $180 to protect my $6000 computer is not bad, so I bought it. Installation is easy. They provide access holes for bolting it down. The BMS Mac Studio Enclosure also has under desk mounting and VESA mounting. I “upgraded” my BMS enclosure with a super bonding tabletop adhesive for around $10 or $15 more. So, my enclosure is secured twice to the desk. Forget the Compulocks Mac Studio Security Mount. Get the BMS Mac Studio Enclosure instead.
