I just bought 3 VIP passes for my wife, my son, and me. This will be our first time at Universal Studios Hollywood. The cost of every ticket is $489 today June 15, 2024. $1426 total, no tax. This was a gift for my sons birthday this year and our 9th wedding aniversary. We are very excited about this experience. I bought the tickets @ universal studios website, the operating hours that day are going to be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We are planning on going @ 9 am before out tour starts at noon. Like I said, we are very excited about this experience. I hope it doesn't disspoint. Oh yes, one more thing. I wanted to eat at toadstool cafe (mario restaurant) but i guess we have to go to a buffet. Also, like you said, they should've include the power up band @ nintendo world with the VIP ticket. I am not happy that I have to pay an extra 40 bucks for that thing.
Happy birthday and anniversary! What a great way to celebrate 🎉 12 hours at the park with a VIP pass is definitely the way to go! We also went to Toadstool Cafe and did that for our dinner. Make sure to book a reservation as we needed one to get in (but we booked it day of without any issue). Let us know how the day goes!
I'm going on a Wednesday in December. I'm still on the fence about this considering it should be dead that day. Plus, they're only open 10-6 that day! So spending the entire day with a group of strangers doesn't sound great lol This was a great video!
Oh man, 10-6 is brutal! You do get to go on the backlot tour though, which is super cool. But I get it. It’s a huge cost for a day that won’t be busy. Let me know how it goes!
It's worth it if you do the math, take in to account the good food, no wait lines and a 3 hour tour. You also have the option of leaving the group and go on your own..but not the tour portion of course
I’ve done the VIP experience 3 times and all 3 times it was worth it. The reason I did it so many times was to be able to walk on the back to the future set since it was being used my first 2 times. Overall it’s an amazing experience and I would recommend to go on a weekend since it’s open much longer. And pro tip: take advantage of the water bottles you can get at the VIP lounge, at the buffet, and when you do the studio tour 💧
Thanks for sharing Luis! I guess 3rd times the charm with the BTTF set. We were looking forward to that but it was also being used when we went. Now we have an excuse to do it again 😊
Question: If we have to use the express lane when we have a VIP pass, what is the point??? I’m trying to decide which to do, the VIP or the Express Pass.
I believe it has to do with space constraints. They’d probably love a shorter VIP line if they had the space. Only some rides have a different entrance (example Transformers). With VIP, you get a guided tour of the backlot and get to get off the bus to explore. You also get Mario Kart ride included which you don’t with any Express Pass. Im sure Express would be perfectly OK for most people. Just have to do the math on how much extra $$ VIP is on the day you go. Hope that helps!
How fun! It’ll be our first time going to Tokyo Disney. We’ve been using a ton of price comparison websites for flights and hotels for our stay. For Tokyo Disney specifically, we couldnt find discounts outside the Disney website so booked directly through them. We’re staying on property in the hope that we can get to Fantasy Springs first as we heard it gets quite busy. Toy Story hotel seemed to be the cheapest option available for hotel. Any tips from your planning thus far?
Totally reliable! That’s the only place we buy from because they are slightly cheaper. The only time we don’t buy from them is when we’re going to the parks for 1-2 days. They are the same price as Universal/Disneys website so we buy direct. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hi, I have a question and I hope you can answer it because it is very important to me. I am a fan of the film Psycho and I really want to see the house and of course take photos in front of the house and on the stairs and of course in front of the Norman Bates Motel. Can I do all of this with a VIP pass? Do they allow it? It is a lifelong dream of mine to take a photo in front of the Psycho house and on the stairs and to enjoy the house in peace. I would be very happy to hear your answer. Greetings from Germany
Hi there - it all depends on what they are filming. Every day is different for what you get to see. I wouldn’t recommend going on the tour just to see one thing because you may end up disappointed!
This was our first VIP park ticket! We splurged a little for Patrick’s birthday 😅. We justified the price since the ticket was included in the price for Hollywood whereas Orlando it’s an additional fee.
Our entire VIP tour experience was 7 hours which included going on several rides, the buffet lunch, and the studio tour where we were driven around in a bus to all the various sets. The studio tour was about 2 hours.

Were you able to see the psycho house from behind? And take photos too? Is it allowed?

I am trying to plan a trip to Tokyo Disney. What have you used to help you with your trip??

How reliable is it to buy tickets through Undercover Tourist vs through Universal's website? What would the difference be?

@@pandytravelsThank you🤝☺️
VIP is totally worth it
This was a helpful video.
Glad it helped in some way, Amanda! Thanks for watching!
Never done a VIP tour. Always wanted to.

sorry did you say 7 hours on the vip bus? :)
