Hi everyone, I’m excited about this week’s video. Nis is an amazing city and should definitely be on your list of travel destinations in Serbia 🇷🇸. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts here in the comments. Have a great weekend!
Congratulations on how much you studied, learned and tried to understand places you visit, in this instance Nis. For adventurers, I also recommend to follow Nishava river down to its' source, down to Pirot and Danilovgrad, where you don't get in taverns "here is our menu", but "here is what we have today" :) Untouched beautiful nature and raw mentality you get for free :P
Great video, Nis has its own natural Spa in suburb with thermal mineral waters,. Also, near mountain platou Trem is location for European championships in paragliding. Beautiful views.
Definitely the historical and culinary capital of Serbia. One of the oldest cities in Europe, where the Roman emperor Constantine the Great was born. Great choice for restaurants, NISLIJSKA MEHANA, STAMBOLIJSKI. Great friend, i hope you enjoy the magic of beautiful Nis again. 😊🖒👑🍞🍖🍰🍷🍷
Very nice video. I don't want to torpedo your video, but now I'm looking at a video from Wroclaw, Poland (I never was there): impressive, uau ! The city inhabited by dwarfs ! It remembers me about the Lord of the Rings. There are so many dwarf statues across the city. Very medieval city, very good looking, like you would be in Germany. Carriages with really big black horses.
Hi Janus! Thank you so much for showing me Nis. Great video! I enjoyed the stories of many very well preserved historical places there 🙂 Btw, when you travel to Asia?
There is part of the city usually unknown to tourists, and that is Bulevar Nemanjica or St Sava Park (and now there is a new park under construction). So, if you are coming to Nis, visit St Sava Park :)
Hi Janus, I really appreciate you making these videos because they are so helpful for aspiring travelers like myself. I am watching all your videos of Serbia since I am visiting on 1st July for 1 week. I watched your videos to plan my trip around Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Subotica. Waiting for your videos of Southern and South-western/eastern Serbia, especially Zlatibor, Kopaonik, Nis, and Golubac. Will you be uploading them soon? If not could you please let me know the good places to visit if you have already done so? I would really appreciate your help so that I can plan this trip for my family. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Hi Reuben Thank you for watching. I’m glad you find the videos useful. I see you already found my videos on Golubac and Nis. Stay tuned for more and safe travels 👍😊
@@januslog Thank you so much for replying. Yes I just saw the video for Nis. Do you have any videos of Zlatibor, Kopaonik & Golubac? Also I'd really appreciate if you'd recommend the places to visit in Serbia for a trip duration of 5 days. What are must visit places or activities that you did in your trip?
@@reubenmathew7677 yes, my video on Eastern Serbia features Golubac. I have not been to Zlatibor but not far South from it you may want to check out Uvac Canyon. I drove there from Krusevac via Novi Pazar and the drive there is just really beautiful. Was my personal highlight. Will showcase next week 😊
I love your wonderful videos. How long did you stay in Nis? I am thinking of retiring in Nis and do you know people that I can contact in the city of Nis.I appreciate your help.
Thank you for watching Alex. I only stayed there for a couple of days but really enjoyed the city. Unfortunately I don’t have any local contacts there but will be curious how your retiring journey goes there. I found the living expenses in Nis quite affordable but of course don’t have enough longterm data
@@januslog I will definitely give you some feedback on Novi Sad and Nis . Have you visited Novi Pazar? If you did, please elaborate on the city of Novi Pazar and its new apartments.
@@alexodainiI’ve visited Novi Pazar and found it really beautiful. It’s however a bit away from the beaten path and getting there from Belgrade for example takes longer. Novi Sad and Nis are easier to reach
Did you watch my video? I actually found Nis to be super interesting with all the historical places from different times in history. And if you head into the residential areas above the city you get some amazing views
