As well as loving this collection, I personally loved the camerawork and presentation of the show. To me it was very Lars Von Trier inspired; sudden zoom outs and hand held camerawork, strange angles and models looking off-camera…great!
U know what i like in Bottega Veneta's clothes are the Knits & Match anticipating Leathers and also i love the bags specially the scruchy looking trash bag it's so unique and fab

The mule wedges are giving me Maryam Nassir Zadeh/Rachel Comey. Not that they are bad designers as I have enjoyed much of their work in the past but I expect a little more from a a brand with such a hefty price tag. Some concepts/silhouette are great but they are not "wowing" me. Aside from that, I am sure certain pieces will sell well such as the knitwear, the accessories (as per usual), the ruched dresses, etc.
Boring but profitable which is understandable during the pandemic. I'd love if somebody could educate me on this but shouldn't knitwear be shown in the fall winter show? im just a beginner and id love to learn info about it

Guys the lighting is like that on purpose. It highlights how the new Bottega is focused on these vibrant jewel tones and playing with ideas of color/contemporary classic silhouettes in monochrome. The camerawork sucks, but if you were in attendance, you’d have a lot of time to stare at each design.
it is not easy to look at what kind of design and colors .... it is completely invisible ... you have done everything for customers could not look at what you have created ...

Viewers with a low tolerance for boredom are advised not to watch. May cause drowsiness. Bland is about the most one can say for this show, because it's not quite bold eough to be "boring" or "dull"-- that would require an effort BV can't get together, it seems. And maybe I'm wrong, but aren't cable knits and overcoats more of a Fall thing? Oh, and the footwear--that mule-clog situation...again, not energetic enough to be clumsy, just sort of...there...

aside from the atrocious camera work, I thoroughly enjoy the slower pace of the models which is something that brands really don't do these days
