  • In this beginner macrame tutorial, learn how to make these boho macrame earrings with beads. These macrame earrings are easy to make and this video gives clear, step-by-step instructions to complete this project.
Only one macrame knot is used in this video and it is the lark's head knot.
    Materials Required:
    -2 x Earring Findings - 40mm (1.5") tall x 25mm (1") wide teardrops were used in the tutorial
You could also use hoops for this project
    -2 x Earring Hooks
    -8 x 3mm wooden beads
-12 x 15cm (4 ¾") lengths - Use any macrame cord you like and split the cord into 8 strand clusters.
-2 x 30 to 40 cm (11 ¾"-15 ¾") legnths of twine (see further description below) or use macrame cord split to 2 or 3 strands.
The twine I used is the same material that I use to warp my weaving loom. It is cotton seine twine # 123
The rotary cutter I use is listed below. I would like to say that as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Disappointed. I spent a lot of time making these. They fluffed up into fuzz after bumping into my hair and clothing. I even ironed the 2 layers to flatten. No bueno. I did use macrame cord and even shaped my own teardrop shaped wire. A mess.

Comb them out and Spray them with stiffen quick. I personally still like them either way. But the stiffen quick helps keep them orderly.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm sorry these didn't work out for you. Your result is definitely no bueno. I wonder if you could try applying stiffener spray to the fringe. That could help with the fuzz perhaps?? I haven't had any other feedback like this yet... but if anyone else has the same problem then i will remove this video. I want you and everyone to enjoy the pieces they make.
