Yes, I think the Doux mousse is very drying. Another good mouse is the Miche Beauty mouse. My hair hates mouse, but it tolerates the Miche Beauty mouse. I can't use mousse for a wash and go, but definitely for a roller or rod set with no problems at all.
I was wondering about this particular combo, so thanks for commenting. Have you tried the Honey Hydrate in the new bottle (new formula) vs the old formula in the honey shaped bottle? If so, would you say the new formula works as well as the old formula?
So helpful I’ve never used a foaming mouse before but wanted to, so much for sharing, have a great blessed day today in JESUS Christ our wonderful Lord God and SAVIOR bye 👋
Do you plan on growing your hair out a length journey? I just big chop my relaxed ends so I’m relearning my natural hair again . I remember your college transitioning videos your hair was down you back ❤❤
Thank you so much for this brilliant video. Very useful and informative. I do have a question though: do you still use gels? I loved what you said about the combination of curling creams and mousse not creating flakes. I don't lay my edges but have used gel for braidouts and twistouts so it would be interesting to know if I can completely replace gel with mousse.

Crazy Sexy Curl is my #1! I used it on my mini twist that I have in now. ❤
I love the design essentials almond and avocado foam I wish more people would try it out 😭
That’s my favorite mousse for all styles omg
oooooo I will definitely go find that to try!
As a hairstylist it is a game changer.
Thank you for explaining the differences of each styling mousse. I needed that information.
I use The doux Mousse DEF w/Camille Rose Honey Hydrate. That is a winning combination. No flakes, no drying.
I just saw this comment, how’s the hold with these two mousses??
@@preciousc432 Works for me. On Day 2 I add a little more Mousse Def and I'm good for 5-6 days.
@@Glamdeb1167 ok that’s good to know ty!

@FitBabe Yes. I never used it when it was in the old bottle. I really like it.

Excellent upload. Thanks for sharing. I may try/revisit products mentioned as a topper to help with a faster set. The Doux Mousse Def was too drying.
My fine hair so will try creme.of nature
Your hair is🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!💕

Do you prefer mousse and gel over leave in conditioner and gel?
My personal favorite is Pattern Beauty.
I've tried that before, it was pretty good too!
The Doux is great hold but I think it’s drying / shedding my hair so I’m looking for alcohol free mousse now

You gotta try the Morrocan oil curl mousse! It’s pricey but so worth it. It’s in Sephora
The smell is phenomenal(the whole line).
