Another day another lack of dollars. I always thought the artists would be the first to go. I was wrong. Guess it turned out to be the press, those fallen Fourth Estates.
Most all my artist friends had to flea the cities in order to afford to be able to survive. Was nice while she lasted. A good run. Hope yet remained.
"Work, work, work", mother used to always say. And she did.
Died bitter and alone.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but was destroyed in three.
Amen and pass the ammunition.
