Hi folks - hope you enjoy this episode. There will be a hiatus in output for a few weeks now because I will be on the road, catching up with family who I haven’t seen since lockdown began. I should be back to weekly uploads again at the beginning of August - thanks for your ongoing encouragement and support.
Really well explained and demonstrated. What a cool looking combo lock. Plastic dials well there is your first clue it isn't vintage when the original lock had Brass dials. The plastic dials look ok but nothing can beat brass for looking good on a lock. Thanks for this video, cheers
"This was the turning point"-please tell me this was an intentional pun!! I love that you didn't stop with just one way, but learned all you could about that lock. Very nice, as always.
Nice decoding work. I had to zoom in on my phone but the wobbling of the other knobs is clearly visible then👍Plastic or original, it's nice to see these different mechanisms I think🙂
"Like tuning a (analog) radio"? You're showing you age (and mine). Nice pick and very clear explanation. Hope you enjoy your road trip. Looking forward to more like this when you return.
Grrreat job commrrad!! We're going to miss you! Give your family a big hug from all of us, and if you have a pretty sister, give her a big kiss from ME! 😂😂 Stay safe and have a great time. 😂🇺🇸🇾🇪🇬🇧

@@fishpicks4531 and she is stunning!
Several years ago I acquired a very similar lock in Athens Greece. I’d always assumed it was of Greek origin, I guess not !
Perhaps it started there and then was appropriated in Russia?
Great vid.. Is there no way to put a new code in?
Not that I can see
