I love that just can do attitude that Johny has. Bennet has it aswell. I'm honestly surprised that stuff around the shop just doesn't start magically fixing themselves as they both walk by,

The editing between the two is great too! It is like Johnny is patiently making sure everything is precisely put together, making sure all the parts know he cares, while Bennett is speed assembling the base of a prophecy in 30 seconds.

Also the musical additions cutting between Johnny and Bennett is a great touch

I run my entire business on a shapeoko. Three Kickstarters now of different dice vault designs - 100% swear by them and gearing up yo purchase my second. Really good investment and I would recommend it for anyone starting out as a woodworker.

I would love to see a walkthrough of how y'all increase the efficiency on the production of certain products. For example, is it faster to cut tiles into hexagonal blanks or is it better to cnc them all out of length of wood. Seeing the evolution from entirely hand cut pieces to including more automation in the manufacturing process.
Thanks, I'm a huge fan, just ordered a RTD Dice Tower set, super excited to receive it!

There are some trade offs. You can definitely cut hexs with a table saw jig in seconds vs minutes on a CNC. You would then need an accurate way to hold those hexs on the CNC to perfectly align magnets and other pockets.

Just started watching these vids, but I've been a fan of WW's creations for a while now. As a manufacturing engineer, it's surprising how few fancy tools they have in the shop for the quality of stuff they produce. Goes to show how much effort and care these guys put into their work/products. I hope they get more, even shinier toys soon to even more fully realize their potential. People like this with a passion for their craft deserve it.

Answer to Johnny's statement about flutes: generally drill bits have between 1 (flat head) to 4 (standard drill) flutes. The different number of flutes and drilling speeds change with the material and the finish desired.

I saw someone else comment about a wooden spacer on rollers for storage, and I realised there was potentially some unused space you could tap into. If there's room on the bottom of the table, you could have an underslung thin box that would be the right size to slot board game boxes into, to keep them with the table. Maybe in the middle so you'd have maximum clearance from people's knees? I guess it depends how much room you guys have underneath!

Oh hey, I had an idea. What about noob tiles?
Tiles designed to make certain gaming elements easier to learn. Like, a tile that's a dice stand with the names of the dice labeled on it. And yes, a dice stand tile would feel a little redundant with hex vaults, but those aren't magnetic and a tile keeping the dice tidy might help new players feel a lot more comfortable.
