@61detlef . The annual Heimattag, I think always in Dinkelsbühl (and the first was in 1951) is a "Treffen" for all Transylvania Saxons with art and book exhibitions, seminars, dancing, a Sunday church service and more. If you're born in Dinkelsbuehl and don't know/remember these celebrations I assume you you're not born to a Saxon family who immigrated from Transylvania (Romania), therefore not involved and aware while you were there.
Das ist die "inside" of meine Kirche ... I was confirmed here in 1974 or 1975 (Dekan Ballwiesser - hope I have that name correct .. also took classes from Pfarrer Schrammel - he was mean from what I remember) ... what happened to all the church pews ???
Interesting! I was born and raised in Dinkelsbuehl, but cannot remember celebrating Heimattag.
