@@adriandlobo ... The Lord speaks to us in many ways. First and foremost He speaks to us through His word, The Holy Bible. He speaks to us through family, friends, strangers and through different books, programs and media.
He also speaks to us in that still, small "voice" deep inside. It's not an audible voice, it's more liked a sudden idea or thought that comes quickly and references exactly what you have been praying and asking about. Night here are people that say they do hear His voice from time to time.

I will never loose my love for hair but sometimes the spark does dim…but to be able to help those less fortunate is..beyond me!

The EXACT same thing happened to me. However, I have been struggling for 20 months to raise the money for my God-given Project. But that does not deter me. Every day I advance 1 inch closer to raising the capital that I need to launch our Project. And, I am absolutely confident that we will make it. All in our Lord's name.
Be encouraged, God will direct your paths and remain faithful to Him and you will see the move of God in your life.

To God be the glory. When give to the poor, we lend to God. And He never repays exact. The key is to give TO THE POOR! Either directly or to ministries that demonstrably give to the poor as a first priority.

Something similar happened to me when I started tithing...It’s amazing.

Nsiande Kweka ..I struggled financially for years, but when I started tithing I was released from the struggle. It’s hard to explain, but I was going into debt at $1000 per month to make ends meet. Once I started tithing, I started putting money into savings. It was like crazy accounting because my salary didn’t increase, my bills stayed the same and I was giving 10% to my church. It all sounds like a sneaky ploy by the church to get your money, but I think God wants us to rely on him to provide for us. Most of the church funds go to help people around the world get food, water and shelter.
God i pray you give me a great idea!!

If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ ,and he know you are in financial hardship, and he is bringing you out of that in trying to teach you a lesson.. God do not need our money!!!! the church needs to be honest, Ministries needs to be honest, about what the money is needed for, and stop using God to make it seem like God put a curse on people ....if they don't pay tithes.. if you're working a job and you're single parent. Because, I can only speak for being a single parent. I can't speak for nobody else.If You have babies to feed, and take care of.... and you're trying to live a honest life for God. I have seen God bless me and my child I'm not a member of a church anymore, and no I don't give a 10% to a church but I sow seeds in another way to be a blessing to people. And it's not financially, I sow my time and God is in the process of doing a work in me, so that I can be a blessing to the kingdom of God financially... along with, other things he have me doing.. so whether you tithe or you don't tithe and God sincerely know your heart. He'll still bless you and I am a witness to that. Peace!
I believe we are blessed because of the New Covenant Jesus made available for us at the Cross. To do, to get blessed , is Old Covenant. We give because God has given us His best -Jesus. Our response is to give to Him as He leads us, as individuals. It's His way His leading, within the individual's personal relationship. As you said , giving is not only finances.

Our covering, protection provisions, healing, salvation, etc...ALL comes from Jesus Christ alone & what He did at Calvarys Cross. That's it, it's Christ & Him alone & His shed blood.

The church of Acts was truly Gods masterpiece described it would be awesome to see more Churches like the Biblical narrative described in Acts established today. Imagine if the Church truly made sure all of its members were well taken care of.
