This was an amazing song combining two powerful vocalists. Heart wasn’t doing a lot around this time, but about a year later they shot back into the stratosphere with the self titled album Heart.
I met Mike Reno a few years back at a concert a friend of mine was promoting. Loverboy was the headliner. Mike was very polite and humble. I told him his voice was spot on like 40 years ago. He told me the reason his voice was still mostly intact was because he basically quit singling for 3 decades and got a normal job. 😂 I guess he had plenty of of rest.
Patty Smythe and Don Henleys Sometimes love just ain't enough, was and awesome Duet. Also Don Henley and Trisha Yearwood, Walk Away Joe, featuring Mathew Mcaughnehy. Probably a misspell, but two great duets!
So many don’t watch the whole reaction. She looked up Mike Reno and read that he’s the singer for Loverboy. She even sang some “Working for the Weekend”. Great reaction!
Written by Eric Carmen and Dean Pitchford, who is the writer of the movie 🎥 Footloose. He and Kenny Loggins wrote Footloose, the song 🎵. Produced by the late Keith Olsen, RIP. He was 1 of the producers for Journey and Rock Springfield. Loverboy started in Calgary, Canada 🇨🇦 but later moved to Metro Vancouver. The most played song is Working for the Weekend. The other highly played song is Turn Me Loose. The late Bruce Fairbairn, RIP, was the producer for the hit albums as Bob Rock was the engineer. Chas Sanford on rhythm guitar 🎸 in the soundtrack version. Also in 1984, he, Mark Leonard and John Waite wrote Missing You. 3 years earlier, Waite rejected 😖 the music of Open Arms, written by them fellow Babys 👶 member Jonathan Cain. But Missing You more than made up for that song 🎵. In 1991, the 2 and Ricky Phillips reunited as they, Neal Schon and Deen Castronovo formed Bad English. I was in Vancouver each year Loverboy released a major album. We never crossed paths! 😥 Go ahead and listen to Loverboy, The Babys 👶, John Waite a d Bad English.
One of my favorite love songs especially as it was playing in the movie as the Reverend and his wife reconnected renewing their love when they heard it in the distance!
I've always loved this song and it's played in one of my favorite scenes from the original Footloose (1984)! Mike Reno sang lead in the Canadian rock band, Loverboy! Fun fact: Footloose was loosely based on a true story of a town where dancing was not allowed.💖💖
Powerful ballad this one well performed. I have seen Footloose ( the original )and this sounded familiar. I think the Title track by Kenny Loggins is my favourite-Colin Ward
My song when I really fell in love for the first time in my teens. Somewhat Unrequited. She ended up batting for the other team. We almost got there but didn't. 😂. Still firends after all these years though.
Theirs a live version of this with Ann singing with Kenny Loggins from the early 2000's posted here on UA-cam...There is no live version of this with her singing with Mike Reno..In fact this song was done both of them in one take in the studio...
Hmmm I would get around to tying to due some more Crystal Gayle, nut you literally have 150 let's say, of equal quality great songs to choose from. Me? Her live version of "Rocky Top" and "Straight To The Heart"
Usually usually I don't like almost ready. Almost paradise is pretty good place and almost like a song? Get it right almost liker song that it's. That's real retarded now. Hold on?
There is a song called almost almost the song. Is kodalma's like a song? It's almost like a song. It is a song almost almost is a song. Brother or not? Almost like a song is the song
Footloose!, I think Anne Wilson DID, take the song over, but you can tell she toned it down. Quite frankly, I've always thought it should have been a solo. I also wondered what a duet between her and Freddie Mercury would have gone.

I saw them in 2017, and was absolutely amazed that Mike could still hit that high note about a minute in to “Turn Me Loose”.
Mike Reno is the lead singer of Loverboy Angela.
And a damn fine singer in his own right.
Great reaction! Ann Wilson has another great duet with Robin Zander please react to it!!
Yes !! Surrender to Me, Tequila Sunrise movie. Great one !
Yup, you are right. It was big at the proms. Classic 80's for sure.
Loverboy actually has a song on the Top Gun soundtrack that rivals this duet ! It’s called “ in your eyes “
They had never met before, walked in to the booth and did that song in one take.
One of the best movie soundtracks ever.
Footloose, Fame, Breakfast Club and Top Gun are my favorite movie soundtracks ever
It's amazing just how their voices work together.
Well, Ann’s absolutely a legend, and Reno is a damn good singer in his own right, he’s pretty close to Steve Perry/Jimi Jamison level.
Gotta love 80 duets.

Love Eric Carmen's chord progressions...min9 and min11 chords used the right way!

Mike Reno also became a DJ on a local Vancouver radio station.

Haha, I knew by the sudden look on your face where you had heard this song!
I completely forgot about this song!!!!! Thank you for bringing attention back to it😊
To power rockers … great song. Need to try Tina Turner and Bryan Adams “It’s Only Love” two more incredible power rockers
Great song, I haven’t heard this in years

You have to listen to---Johnny Mathis and Denience Williams--" Too much, Too Little, Too Late"

I've seen "Foot Loose " many times. Never knew that Ann Wilson.
No one has mentioned that Angela was the lead singer from the rock group heart
duet from 1982 on youtube : Jefferson Starship - Winds Of Change ( Official Music Video )
Reno sings lead for the group Loverboy that is from Canada! This song is ok! Catch you later!

Hi Angela whats up ann Wilson is the one mike is cool 😎
Two great singers ❤
I was wondering if this soh would make the list.
I'm also wondering about a Phil Collins duet. I CANNOT remember the song name or female artist. Help?
The original footloose is the best
Ann was pulling in the reins.
Consider doing movie reactions

Wish they would have went on for decades ...
