I remember the first time I played the Level Theatre of Death in Disgaea PC. When this song was played, an electric shock ran down my back, I froze, my eyes were wide open and getting teary, I did not know why, but I this song generated immense sadness in me. I just had to sit back, stop playing and enjoy the piece. This was the first time a music from a game has me so emotional.
I cannot agree with you more, I didn't realize for years, but I was accidentally beating the game with the sad ending Everytime, with flonnes dying. Struck me to my core, still does.
This song always runs chills through my ears and down my spine. You can really reflect on life with this song. It feels bitter sweet.... the voice is so moving in this song. Has a sad gospel choir feel to it.

Sorrowful Angel junto con Akai Tsuki son uno de los temas mas emotivos de este maravilloso RPG. Disgaea es y siempre sera uno de mis juegos tácticos favoritos al igual que La Pucelle Tactics.
The enemies used on the older versions added to the level’s atmosphere, in the Complete version they look so goofy. Like they were hired for their role at the last minute.

I had been listening to the ost for years, but for some reason as to now when I listen to this song, I break down into tears, both how beautiful this song is conveyed and circumstances in life, though not bad, but worried for those I may lose, never to see again once they pass on. It's odd, but I am so glad to have been introduced to this game and music associated with it and hope for everyone else to cherish every moment of life with your loved ones, yourself and enjoy this beautiful music.
I think that could have been corrected if Almaz just didn't come back. I was pretty choked up the first time I saw that scene, only to have them undo the suspense right after.
Just bought Disgaea 3 will sit down with it later. Thought disgaea one had a better story but 2 was a better system for people like me who just like endless custimzation options and what not, my harem of catgirls with the beast tamer keepers being the nerdest team I built

well despite the many jokes disgaea's story is a bit sorrowful it ain't happy things only.

yeah the soundtrack for this whole series is pretty shit but this is one of the best songs
