This is a great session! I've been wanting to learn more about Agents, but the examples I kept seeing were in Python. So glad to have found C# examples with Semantic Kernel! Thank you!
Jakob. Been a senior .NET developer in e-commerce for 30 odd years. Been pulling my hair out looking for a comprehensive technical overview of functions and agents from a coding point of view. Watched countless videos and read countless webpages and your presentation summarises the technology with ease with great examples. Thanks for sharing your expertise
Cool demo! It sounds like you also build semantic kernel applications for your customers. What are the most useful applications for it in your opinion? I feel like through chat in general it is very difficult for the user to know what the app is capable of, since he does not know which plugins and functions are implementd
Yes, we build a lot of AI based application using Semantic Kernel. Some of them are chat-based, but many of them also use AI for background jobs, orchestration, various integrations etc. Regarding the challenge with chat UIs that you mention, there are different options there. It is quite common to show a few, context-sensitive, example questions to the user to make it easier to understand what is possible. Another option is to automatically generate follow-up questions, based on the users original question

Thanks Ian, really appreciate this!
Will you please make the code samples available?
