Sight Fishing Peacock Bass On Beds In Miami

What’s up guys! Back again with some more FIRE FISHING CONTENT!!! Last couple of peacock trips didn’t go so well because it was too early in the season and the peacocks weren’t biting, but this video turned out pretty good sight fishing peacocks on beds. - Star Rod Seagis 7’6 (6-15lb)
- 10lb PowerPro braided line
- 15lb fluorocarbon leader
- Shimano Miravel 1000
- 13 Fishing Defy Silver 7’ Light/Fast (4-8lb)
- 8lb PowerPro braided line
- 12lb fluorocarbon leader
Lures used:
- Egret Baits 3.5” Vudu Mullet (pin fish)
- Custom hand-tied jig 1/4oz (red)
- Googan Squad Snacky Swimmer 2” (pro blue red)/ 1/16oz crappie jig head (pink)
- Mule Fishing Donkey Tail Jr (dakota sunrise)/ 1/16oz mule jig head (white)

Yah I know Naples has more then ft myers but Miami is just a whole other ball game when it comes to peacocks

Nice video man but just remember one thing you should only catch the mail off the bed and then leave the female so it can protect the eggs Don't catch both male and female not good for the fishery cuz they'll both take off and then all the fry will get eaten

True but they always come back, they’re smart when they bed they remember where they’re bed is. 9 times out of 10 you can catch both and within an hour or two you can go back to the bed and see at least one of the same fish. Kinda like a largemouth
