You guys missed the point ! Previous owners had it planned, the truck sits long enough for the trees in the back to get big enough to log, you cut them down with your new saw, and then load them up In the truck, take them to the mill, while pushing snow of the road ! 👌✔ Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
Ohhhh, makes perfect sense. The rust holes are to let the water drain away from the roots. That's probably the same reason they used gravel instead of dirt.
Hey! Justin has great taste in trucks! I worked for an Intl truck dealership for 44 years. 42 years in parts and 2 years as head of warranty. I saw alot of trucks come through the dealership especially the 4900's with the DT466 in them. Always like watching you guys videos!
Higher gears 2or3 gear and it will go anywhere, to much horsepower on the ground, you learn this stuff by hauling belly dumps doubles, 2or3or4 gear if you have enough power in your motor, allways works, never get stuck again, nice chain saw, thanks BigAl California.
FYI. From a northern guy some advise. Youre better off dropping your plow when not in use. Also extend the lift chain a bit. Your lift hoist will bottom out when your blade is on the ground. Just some advise for Justin.
Same here. I switched my dawgs over to the long version so i can set it down on soft ground without the blade tipping in to the dirt. Its only 13 bucks for the west coast version well worth it for me.
That is a great saw. Just be careful fuelling it. Let it set a minute before taking the cap off. Sthil has a problem with the fuel spraying out. If you open them to quickly after running for a while. I found just letting it sit for a couple of minutes stops the issue. God bless
Somebody help him take that plow off...extra wear and tear on the front end and mostly it will likely cause the truck to overheat with the blowing blocking airflow to the radiator...yup been there done that got the t-shirt
He needs to tighten the center pin on that plow the way it wobbles over time it will crack the A frame. Bit of advice from someone from wisconsin with a plowing company.
The 461 is a beautiful saw and congratulations on receiving a very welcome gift! They are a little small for the very large Monterey Pines we have here in New Zealand. Generally we use 660 Stihls.
When he puts the GPS and laser sensors height on that blade, don't forget to put on a 0.015" swing out shim on the fine adjust. That way you can swing out the shim after you adjust the blade to the road surface height, thus getting the necessary clearance so you just clean the lane paint markings and don't peel them off the road. Safety first. ;-)
That ms461 is a skookum saw, run mine nearly daily without issue 5 years now... It will pull a 36 inch bar but it dont have enough oiler to keep it lubed, does ok on a 323 though
The 461 will handle a 32 inch bar if you do so go with the Rollomatic ES Light with a skip tooth chain you may have to change the rim sprocket. I put the 32 inch bar on my 460 mag when the 28 inch bar I had wore out I do like the 32. I have used both 460 and 461 the 460 has more grunt.
I have this very saw. 25" bar and everything. I run the full chisel. Cuts fast but you can't let it hit dirt or rock. And you have to watch the tip. Definitely will kick back like a mofo . Gotta be careful. And definitely get some chaps -- and wear 'em. Mine were sitting in my basement when I cut my knee open. Good luck with your new saw. You should like it.
Justin's new truck has keep back 50ft stickers because of loose flying bed parts, If it was a Dodge truck it would be keep back 100 ft because of flying Ball joints and drive line components. I see the potential in repairing that box if a guy puts time and steel into it, it would look smarter in a hurry. I was thinking the blades not strong enough but seeing as the trucks auto, and needs a huge amount of weight to get traction in mud or snow it won't have enough balls to hurt it. i know a guy has a 466 auto grain truck it's nothing special in the power department either. The new saws nice Of course the new blades not sharp, they wouldn't want anybody cutting themselves with it getting it out of the box L.O.L . Thanks for the video, take care guys.
If Justin had left his hoist up it would have given him more weight over his drive axle and may have been able to drive out without help, getting a load on it will help too. Great video guys
surprised you never sharpened her up before the vid Chris . great saws . I need the earth to tilt just enough so we don't get snow up here . 5 cm today .
I have a 92 international 4900 great little trucks! Mine is the same with the dt466 and auto, pulls anything just not real speedy! Nice saw too! I need to get me a bigger saw!
Elite Earthworks LLC they’re good trucks, just like to talk a little smack. I seem to remember seeing that phrase about trucking and plowing on the back of a road tractor somewhere amidst my travels.
HaHa! I love the Chris and Justin Show! Y'all have a lot of fun and it shows in the videos. A+ entertainment for the bargain basement price of "FREE"! 😂
Nice saw. Stihl products are top quality. I have an MS290 with a 20" bar and it is a cutting machine. Gets a little heavy after a while though. That MS461 cuts like a beast.
I bought a MS 461 at the Florence flea market, for $300, back in August. I'm pretty sure that guy that runs the small engine repair business there, didn't know what he had. One of his guys had no idea how to start it. I jumped on that $1100 saw for $300. It didn't have the right spark plug in it. After I bought it, I got the right spark plug for it and it fired up on the first pull.
Chris, you probably could’ve used the back of the bucket set flat on his hitch and pushed him out with tracking. Just a thought though, as I wasn’t there and you were. Like your new saw!
The Forest Service and most fire departments use Stihl if there using them to save life and property then their a good saw I used them on the fire line and compared to any other saw their the best that's my opinion and that's all it boils down to is matter of opinion
Not anymore. Husky is by far the better saw. I am in the industry and lots of Stihl dealers run husky saws personally. Stihl is a good saw, but they have forgotten the pro guy in favor of the homeowner.
Justin got a nice truck...a little welding and new side boards it's good to go...DT466 motors are great and bulletproof...Chris nice choice of saw it will serve you well...Stihl is best imo.
What a pity that new saw didn't come with all the safety gear. Bigger bar means longer chain, if it comes off or breaks, it could easily wrap round your leg or arm.
You definitely bought the best brand of chain saws. I had a Stihl saw and lived it back when I still had my house. You couldn't kill that thing if you tried. I traded a brand new 2 piece Viking cue stick with case for it. Justin's laugh is hilarious. He'd fit right in if he lived in Mayberry RFD North Carolina. He'd definitely be one of the main characters 😅😂🤣😎
I miss the old 075 AV., try a .404 skip tooth chain and get yourself a good file and guide and a bench mount sharpener. a good chain saves your back and your life at times.
You guys have to much fun to call it work and Justin has the back of the excavator all down in the brush honing the finish on the back. A little JB weld will fix Mr. Plow up.
I have a confession.....I purchased my first Stihl chainsaw recently. The short story is....I had a bad experience with a dealer and it turned me off from Stihl until a few weeks ago. I was in a bind, had 2 chainsaws "trashed" from employees (another long story) and needed a chainsaw to finish a job. My son-in-law was a "died in the wool" Stihl fan and his dealer was VERY close to my house. I stopped in at 4:45 and walked out with a brand new MS180 before 5:00 with a two year warranty, both tanks full, chain guard and a six pack of oil mix for $200.00!!! I've used that little saw for about six hours so far and I have to admit, I'm VERY impressed with that little saw!!! Only weighs 9 pounds, plenty of power and it's become "my go to saw" on the job site lately. AND the employees have been warned "DON'T TOUCH IT"!!! :-)
is that chainsaw the one that has the all plastic motor ? if so , DO NOT drop it, it will break... my buddy a sthil sales and service guy told me so... I bought one of the last few all metal engine ones a couple years ago... and WHAT , you get snow ? ha ha .. come up here in northern MN and I will show you snow and cold... keep up the fun videos, your a hell of a operator..
I swear Justin sounds just like Gomer Pyle. If you don't believe me just Google that and listen to both voices. edit: Hey Chris... Try to get Justin to say: "Gooowwlie" on camera for us.
Comrade bigdeal! Gladding to see you got the right color orange saw! Can we get the gps attached to Justin's new moto grader you think ya? Talking soon comrade DRINK MORE VODKAS!
You guys missed the point !

That STihl chainsaw is beautiful and cuts through those trees like butter.
"Don't get too feisty with it, grasshopper". A+
Hey! Justin has great taste in trucks! I worked for an Intl truck dealership for 44 years. 42 years in parts and 2 years as head of warranty. I saw alot of trucks come through the dealership especially the 4900's with the DT466 in them. Always like watching you guys videos!
Justin has an great laugh. I like how he answered his phone while Chris was cutting.
You'll love that MS461. I have one and it's a Beaver with serious anger issues. lol
Ryobi makes the best saw, everyone knows that. If you leave them in the truck they will almost last an entire job.
Higher gears 2or3 gear and it will go anywhere, to much horsepower on the ground, you learn this stuff by hauling belly dumps doubles, 2or3or4 gear if you have enough power in your motor, allways works, never get stuck again, nice chain saw, thanks BigAl California.
Good choice of Saw , the best brand in my experience, I have a few and they give the least trouble.
A nice pair of Stihl saw chaps would go great with the new saw. Good vid, Cheers and be safe!
Good choice of chainsaw. Sharp new chain cut like butter.
You need a set of chain saw chaps, proved to be a life saver
FYI. From a northern guy some advise. Youre better off dropping your plow when not in use. Also extend the lift chain a bit. Your lift hoist will bottom out when your blade is on the ground. Just some advise for Justin.
Nice logs and the tops would make great far wood. Liking the new saw.
Love it when Chris visits Justin, these two are a riot!
I like my stihl 461,plenty of power,I use mine alot to mill lumber
Just like a back scratcher, that's the Top Hand
You gonna like that saw. I love my 461. I have a 32" on it and it saves a lot of bending over.
Same here. I switched my dawgs over to the long version so i can set it down on soft ground without the blade tipping in to the dirt. Its only 13 bucks for the west coast version well worth it for me.
here along the beach, we use snow plows to removed the sand from the streets after the ocean overflows the road in a storm....might need you Tim!!!!'

You need a set of 'chainsaw protective chaps', don't take any chances, please!
The 461 is a beautiful saw and congratulations on receiving a very welcome gift! They are a little small for the very large Monterey Pines we have here in New Zealand. Generally we use 660 Stihls.
I have a MS460 which I like very much. I run a 28" bar and a skip tooth chain. Works great.
I have the full weight bar wish i hadn't. But a full comp chain runs great for me especially for softer woods, a big yellow pine just melts away.
I'd recommend picking up a full skip chain is you are just using to buck up big logs.
I have this very saw. 25" bar and everything. I run the full chisel. Cuts fast but you can't let it hit dirt or rock. And you have to watch the tip. Definitely will kick back like a mofo . Nice purchase Justin.....you are well on your way buddy!

Thanks for the video, take care guys.
Need a new chain for sure...it's chipping/flaking instead of making noodles. Nice saw...definitely a workhorse.
If Justin put his truck hoist up, the transfer of weight to the rear may have been enough to give him traction. Old truckie's trick!
If Justin had left his hoist up it would have given him more weight over his drive axle and may have been able to drive out without help, getting a load on it will help too. Great video guys
DT466 is a wicked good motor. Think he needs to put some more aggressive tires on the back of that truck.
I have a 461. Love it. Get some bucking spikes
Got those Chicago wabblers for wheels I see. Just as long as the price was right, what the hell! Thanks for the video.
i run a 460 at work with a 26” bar definitely makes some short work of cutting up bigger wood or cutting stuff down
Nice unit put a salt dog sander salt and that will bring thirty grand a year thumbs up Justin
surprised you never sharpened her up before the vid Chris . great saws . I need the earth to tilt just enough so we don't get snow up here . 5 cm today .
I have a 92 international 4900 great little trucks! Mine is the same with the dt466 and auto, pulls anything just not real speedy! Nice saw too! I need to get me a bigger saw!
Elite Earthworks LLC too slow to truck, too fast to plow. International, 13 letter shit spreader
Highstranger951 lol haven’t heard that before! It gets y loader from point a to point b
Elite Earthworks LLC they’re good trucks, just like to talk a little smack. I seem to remember seeing that phrase about trucking and plowing on the back of a road tractor somewhere amidst my travels.
Highstranger951 oh I know I think it’s really funny. Describes to the tee! Lol
If you bought a truck with a plow on it around here the chances of the plow working would be so slim.
Nice seeing you guys work so well together even in reversed roles.
His 220 rental is sounding a bit sicker than the last time we saw it.
Poweeer.:-)
Have 064 stihl at home. Older. But powerfull. For big logs PERFECT. For branches and tiny logs to heavy.
If you get some of that nice dry dirt and sit on it. It should reduce the slippage while tossing them trees
That's a nice saw. I like it. But I still like my Husky 372 a tad better. Nothing wrong though with a Billow Built brand. Haha
You two need a pair of walkie talkies for the comedic play by play. Should've got 372xp.
I got 461 and 372 xp both new. Love them both. But have to say get in the big wood and 461 will smoke the husky everytime
Justin Camarata!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
David Baker lol. I was looking for a reference.
Exactly 😂😂
Little nicer that his roach.. haha bet he wishes he had that plow though lol
Naaa he would need to use that chainsaw to install a new radio first.
Good ol dt 466 we run 2 of those plowing for the state bigger plows but they are good little trucks easy to get around and run good
Amazing saw! Put a Bark Box on it.
Chris channeling his inner cottontop3
Chris, you probably could’ve used the back of the bucket set flat on his hitch and pushed him out with tracking. Just a thought though, as I wasn’t there and you were. Like your new saw!
Of course Justin would clean his boots when getting out of the truck
Stihl the best chainsaw ever
@cody hyatt you don't have a clue about saws
He's rite.
The Forest Service and most fire departments use Stihl if there using them to save life and property then their a good saw I used them on the fire line and compared to any other saw their the best that's my opinion and that's all it boils down to is matter of opinion
When I use to cut pulp for a living I used Huskies and I was very happy with them.
Put some chaps on when using the chainsaw. Your legs will thank you. Plus it cuts down on the hospital bill lol.
Great saw, I know you will enjoy it.
Has logger wade seen this? Stevie's brand saw
Garrett Moody Steve’y switched to husky, even his stubborn ass knew where the action was
That is a sweet chainsaw, stihls are so good, i wish i had more reason to use a chainsaw then i justify getting a stihl.
Send that 461 to west coast saw here in Wa and have it ported out!
wow what a video thanks Chris for all you do for us to see.
That's a cute little plow.
Good choice in saw Chris I love mine power to weight is just about perfect, nice buy on the plow truck looks to be in good shape
That truck has seen a few loads in it's day!
Good truck just cut the rust out and weld in patches. She sounds good though. Way to go justin.
Tell Justin he could use the plow to push the slow pokes out of the way!!! lol
i run the same saw at work love it lots of power !!!
That new saw is a beast...!
Nothing cuts faster than a new chain!
knowing how to properly sharpen and dress the bar is key.
What a pity that new saw didn't come with all the safety gear. Bigger bar means longer chain, if it comes off or breaks, it could easily wrap round your leg or arm.
Fancy pants... still need a 395XP
Echo makes the best top handle climbing saw though.
Thanks for the video Chris and Justin .
Thought Chris hated getting dirty? This proves me wrong.
I like the truck
As dirty as some of those logs are you might think about a carbide chain as they are a little tougher, albeit more expensive.
Nice saw. I’ve got a 362cm and still want a 462
I miss the old 075 AV., try a .404 skip tooth chain and get yourself a good file and guide and a bench mount sharpener. a good chain saves your back and your life at times.
Stihl is always the best choice.
That's a sweet Excavator bucket thumb. 👍
You guys have to much fun to call it work and Justin has the back of the excavator all down in the brush honing the finish on the back. A little JB weld will fix Mr. Plow up.
I need a new chain saw also. For at home a little light one.
I would recommend you do a west coast build on your saw
Tree killer is back, lol! Title should be "New chainsaw & rusty old plow truck", lol. (Thought it was going to be a new one.)
He got skills.
Great video Chris thanks for sharing
461 is the only way to go! got a 20" and 28" bar on mine
Nice older international.
Justin’s a teddy bear in human form
I have a confession.....I purchased my first Stihl chainsaw recently. The short story is....I had a bad experience with a dealer and it turned me off from Stihl until a few weeks ago. You should have as much luck and success with this Stihl as I and everybody else who own's one. There's no substitute for quality, is there?

nice to see you bought a real chainsaw and not a want to to be like them orange saws
