Thank you so much for this video. We have been building for decades and have only recently, last 3 years, been using dense pack. Your videos and also your packing density and the expectation of self support, have changed our expectation from our insulation sub. They DO NOT do insulation correctly and leave the density too low, with giant voids all over the place. We had to make them come back to fill in the voids and then we still had to follow after them ourselves to even out the overly dense spots with the not dense spots. Then the drywallers complained about too much insulation making the walls lumpy. Any advice on NOT having to hand hold our subs?
I love your videos but can you please adjust the volume of the intros? They're easily +15 dB louder than the content audio. I always have to rip my headphones off whenever youtube autoplays the next one
I'm working with a Passive House builder now and starting to blow in their outer shell walls with cellulose. Looking for resources to watch and learn more about what I'm doing, aside from the actual doing of it. Thanks for this
hands down one of the best guides to densepack out there. nice work.

Thanks for the feedback! (And "ouch"). We'll work to solve this moving forward.

Great video! How about the blowers the box stores lend you? Do they test and replace hoses/seals every 6 months?
I think you can guess the answer!
Sehr schön anzusehen. Kenne diese Technik seit ca 30 Jahren. Baue selber Passiv Häuser. 👍👍🇩🇪🍻
Dense packed fiberglass, BIBS, is a better option in many ways than cellulose.
Is cellulose better than beads to retro insulate walls?
Fiberglass is a higher R-value, doesn't settle if over 1.8# cubic foot and doesn't absorb water like cellulose.
@@timothyjohnson6055 no one in California works with fiberglass due to unhealthy conditions
Bravo!
You totally lost me at plywood. The pounds per area also... You need to know your blower pressure.
